DC Comics/JUSTICE LEAGUE Valentine's Day Contest

Because DC loves you, find out how you can win some free comics.

It's Valentine's Day. You may have seen our poll for the best comic book couple. Now we want to give you the chance to win some free comics.

DC Comics has a copy of the latest JUSTICE LEAGUE hardcover (volume 2) and a copy of YOUNG ROMANCE: THE NEW 52 VALENTINE'S DAY SPECIAL to send your way.

No Caption Provided

This is where the big kiss happened.

The YOUNG ROMANCE special was released last week and contains several stories of looooove. As a bonus, it also contains several Valentine's Day cards. While the winner won't get them in time to use this year, you can always hang onto them for next year!

How can you win?

There will be one winner, selected at random. All you need to do is tell us what you think about Superman and Wonder Woman as a couple now that it's been a few months since we've seen that kiss. How long do you think they'll last as couple?

The bad news is, because we operate out of the United States, this contest is open only to those in the United States.

Here's all the legal mumbo jumbo:

Eligibility: Comic Vine Giveaways (the "Giveaways") are open only to individuals who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including the District of Columbia) and are 18 years of age or older. Entrants acknowledge and agree that the Giveaway Entities may have developed or may in the future develop ideas that may be similar to entrant's submission, that any such similarity shall be coincidental, and that entrant shall have no rights whatsoever in or to, and the Giveaway Entities shall have no obligation to entrant for the Giveaway Entities' use of, any such ideas.

Entry Period: The start and end times/dates (the "Entry Period") are located on the applicable Giveaway page.

Giveaway Entry/Submission: Follow the directions on the applicable Giveaway page in order to submit an entry. The use of any agencies or automated software to submit entries will void all entries submitted by that person.

Winner Selection: Winner(s) will be selected via random drawing. The odds of being selected depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winner(s) will be contacted via private message and will be asked to provide their first and last names, age and mailing address. If a potential winner does not respond within the timeframe stated in the notification p.m., the Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place at random from all entries received during the Entry Period.

Prize(s): The prize(s) are located on the applicable Giveaway page. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the prize is not available for any reason as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. General Conditions: In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Giveaway is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problem, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Giveaway to address the impairment and then resume the Giveaway in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. In case of a dispute as to the owner of an entry, entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the screen name from which the entry is made. The authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in the Giveaway, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Giveaway Entities from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Giveaway or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Giveaway; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the Giveaway or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Giveaway or receipt of any prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Giveaway Entities' liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Giveaway, and in no event shall the Giveaway Entities be liable for attorney's fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.

Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Giveaway or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the Commonwealth of Virginia. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant's rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsors in connection with the Giveaway, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the Commonwealth of Virginia or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Publicity: Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes Winner's consent to Sponsor's use of Winner's name, likeness, picture, portrait, voice, opinions, biographical information and state of residence for promotional, publicity or advertising purposes worldwide in any media and on the World Wide Web, in perpetuity, without further payment, consideration, review or consent (where allowable).

The very little interaction they have had as a couple as been great so far. I can see it working for a long time if DC wanted it to and I'll be find with that. I think they understand each other and that's always a good thing.

I don't like them together as a couple at all. Clark belongs with Lois Lane. They are the most well known comic book couple of all time. Their love has been around far longer than I have and I hope it will be long after I am gone so people can read about the most epic romances of all time. It actually makes me sad that it is Valentine's and they are not together. It just seems wrong.

I'm glad that Clark and Diana have found happiness and companionship in each other. I think that this will be good for history, but Clark's soul mate is Miss Lois Lane, and I hope that the authors allow that relationship to blossom in a natural and beautiful way.

I want the current relationship to be fully fleshed out, though. Give it at least a year.

I'm really glad they're together now. I've been fan of the pairing most of my comic reading life, and think they make perfect sense to one another. Good to see DC finally understands this too. This whole thing is too new, still, and it seems writers are not too sure what to do with them. The Valentine special was a good story for them, and DC should go through that path if we want the couple to endure.

I think it inevitable for them to eventually split up, but it would be fantastic if they leave a permanent mark in the whole DCU, say, like an offspring who will become a superhero (or supervillain?)

Since I was never a huge fan of Lois and Clark I'm really enjoying this new direction. Now obviously this isnt going to last forever probably only a year or two at most, and I'm sure that it may end up blowing up in their faces but I'll enjoy it while it lasts!

I think there romance brings about an interesting dynamic to the Justice League. While I'm not totally for their relationship, I wouldn't say it was a total cash grab. I would like to see how their relationship develops further and how it works into the League's dynamic. But nonetheless, I can concede that it's kinda cool that they're together, if I was really forced to have an opinion.

It suits the reboot in New 52 obviously, but truth be told is I'm really not that wild about Wonder Woman and Superman together because I just don't think it pays the respect both high caliber comic characters deserve. Their relationship almost makes it seem like it has to be necessary just for the characters to be all that more interesting while in reality they can just as easily stand on their own two feet. That being said, the romantic side of me obviously thinks it is quite sweet seeing the two of them together. On the surface how could anyone not like it? So yeah, on the surface it seems nice but in reality this romance just makes me want Clark to get to Lois already and Diana to find her love elsewhere, if she so needs it.

I personally love the relationship between Clark and Diana! I think it was a bold move and speaks volumes to the creative team. I don't really know how long they plan to let the relationship last, but I hope it is for a while and that they explore different aspects to their relationship and them as a whole. I think it was a great choice on DC's part and to me it just makes sense, given their past and who they are as superheroes. They are both outsiders and can relate to each other in a lot of ways. Overall I love the relationship and totally ship them!!! HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY :)

Not a big fan of the Wonder Woman/Superman relationship. They're an okay couple, but I don't think they've really done much for each other. I just don't see their worlds meshing very well. Superman needs to get back with Lois, because although he's an alien, he needs a girl like Lois that can really ground him to his human roots. With Diana, that's just unattainable. I predict that the relationship ends when the Trinity War does.

I was against it at first but the pairing has really grown on me. I enjoyed the issue where Clark is kind of teaching Wonder Woman how to have a secret identity and she realized the glasses actually work lol. I actually think this couple is going to last till trinity war.

The love story of Lois Lane and Superman is immortal and inevitable. The biggest mistake in the "New 52 Superman", this is something that they are not married. And I hope that this bug will be fixed this year.

Judging from previous comics, Clark is in love with Lois. In the "Superman #14" Clark jealous Lois to her boyfriend.

" No mater how many times he lays eyes on her… he’s always taken aback at the realization that Lois Lane is the most amazing woman he has ever met."

While in my opinion of changing things in comics is great (if done right), the superman/wonder woman thing is a nice idea yet the only problem i have is that not much has been shown. To be invested in this relationship, the reader needs to see more and it's been months since it happened and we still haven't seen almost anything that will win longtime readers. The way sups teaches diana about a secret identity was nice yet i still feel that more can be done (I mean, there should be more of them hanging out outside of justice league). But overall, i like the idea of change once in a while (plus, who says people shouldn't date others before meeting their other half?).

Them as a couple is too.. obvious for me. When the possibiity was with Batman and/or Aquaman, it was kinda cool to think that the MAIN guy didnt get the main girl. Cuz thats how teen drama's work.

But now, here we are. IDK i hope they dont last. At some point, they would kind of be unstoppable with their like mindedness.

I'm not against Clark and Diana as a couple, but I'm not a fan of how it's been executed so far in the comics. Their relationship is obviously more of a plot device than an organic pairing of two characters with a mutual attraction. From what I read in Justice League, it looked like Diana was just trying to find a way to protect Steve Trevor from bad guys going after him to get to her. Could she be getting some genuine "feels" from the relationship? Maybe, but we all know Clark will eventually find his way back to Lois.

I'm sure it will all be over by the end (or beginning) of Trinity Wars.

I don't really think their relationship can go on much longer. Sure it's something interesting for now but it's only a matter of time before they disagree on something in a battle or some random thing like that and poof! Just like that, they'll be broken up.

I like that DC has finally let Superman and Wonder Woman explore a romantic relationship together, especially after all the teasing that has happened in the past. I'm hoping this relationship last for a long time on the pages of DC comics and just maybe it might make it to a mainstream venue say a movie or new TV show. To me the Clark and Lois relationship has run it's course, and I would not be interested in reading about them entering a romantic relationship again. It's has already been done, there is nothing new that could be written about them as a couple. I can remember back in the 70's when I was first introduced to the Justice League, I thought that Superman and Wonder Woman were already a couple. It was not until later on that I find out that Superman was gaga over a human named Lois Lane. I never saw her appeal or what Lois brought to the relationship, she could never truly understand what Superman goes through.

I hate the pairing. I think that having Superman be with Lois Lane sends a better message. You can be a flawed but successful career woman, and still be with Mr. Prefect. But no but now you will lose out to a woman that dresses like a pornstar. I think Lois is the better role model in terms as a being a feminist one.

Also despite the comment i just said about WW , she is my second favorite superhero after Batman. i just like Lois better as a character. She is viewed by many that she is a female copy of Superman with is partly true and this hurts her. Superman is losing popularity so her being with him will drag her down too. It would be better to pair her with Batman. After all He is DC most popular character.

I think Superman and Wonder Woman make perfect sense as a couple. Both are outsiders to the human race, they both have a deep need to make the world a better place. Also important, both are so powerful that they might be afraid to hurt the any normal human beings that they are close to. Together they don't have to hold back at all, they can be who they are with each other mentally and physically. They even have similar taste in color schemes. It almost seems preposterous that two people so similar in background, and similarly driven who work alongside each other would never have developed a romantic relationship.

The relationship won't, or at least shouldn't, last for the long term. Wonder Woman is a warrior from an island where men don't exist, the idea of her settling down with anybody would seem highly uncharacteristic of her. And obviously Lois Lane is Superman's soul mate, and I'm sure they will eventually be an item again, but Lois and Clark were not already married back in Action Comics #1 in the 1930's, and now that Superman is young again, he can't jump right into a relationship with Lois immediately.

To be honest, as it is, I dunno how I feel regarding Clark and Diana together. It worries me because as it is now, Diana could unintentionally influence Clark to act above humanity yet we've seen how Clark is trying to get Diana to try to be more human rather than being a goddess... and it also seems forced. With Kingdom Come, they had time to build up their relationship rather than being forced into it, and given how it seemed like Clark was trying to NOT love again after losing Lois.

Sure, Clark and Diana may be the power couple so to speak, but their being together as young and inexperienced (compared to their original DCU selves) heroes; it could lead to trouble. BIG trouble. Hence why I am worried about it. Sure, they seem sweet together, but I worry mostly about the reprecussions to how Diana comes off detached to humanity at times right now in the DCnU

BEFORE THE NEW 52 the Superman/Wonder Woman relationship has been shadowed and teased for the past 20/30 years from various elseworld mini-series:

And when Superman and Wonder Woman are finally an item in mainstream comics (as opposed to their human lovers - Lois Lane and Steve Trevor)...it seems like people have have turn their backs on the Superman/Lois (er Lois & Clark). Don't get me wrong, it's sometimes common for superheroes to have a relationship with another hero (of the same team or from another group), but sometimes couples don't always need to be "super". Sure it's also common to a non-powered lover to be in harms way because of secret identities, but it is also the main reason why heroes like Superman rescue damsels in distress from any danger hatched by their archenemies. It's not likely considered to be a weakness to Superman but to encourage him to channel the strength needed to do the task at hand. Lois anchors Superman's humanity.

PLUS, there is a dating policy about having a relationship with someone you work with....it can drive them bonkers to be together 24/7. Anyone remember the Batman/Wonder Woman relationship in the Justice League show:

I personally think that the Superman/Wonder Woman relationship will not survive in the upcoming TRINITY WAR and after...

I'm sorry Lois and Clark is always something that bothered me.

Ok just because the guy comes from a small farm town doesn't mean he has to be small town minded.

Which is exactly my problem with Lois and what she would ever see in Clark because of his small town mentality - even if he does have Super powers = she just wouldn't be attracted to Clark - say EVER. Supes sure but only a passing infatuation.

Now Wonder Woman - someone with an equivalent upbringing and of super stature might also share some very intense feelings towards Supes and his nobility and sense of responsibility (or divine purpose). This is something that is far more interesting that star-struck Lois over Superman.

And at the very least - How about no Workplace Romances!

Power couple is nice, but we all know it's not forever. If it was, it'd be really interesting to see their child (assuming they could have children. I mean Kal-El already looks human, his physiology can't be that different. Plus Diana is made of clay.). I'd actually love it to be the status quo. it'd be really cool.

it adds some spice to superman comics so that it isnt the same old love story about Lois. I dont think it will last long. It will be just like what Tony keeps saying about superior spiderman. Give it a fresh spin but you know in the end it will always come back to the original whether it is a day from now or years from now.

I think so far, so good. It's something different, and I'm willing to watch to see how it plays out. I'm a big fan of Superman/Lois, so I think eventually that will be the relationship for him but there's no real reason to rush things for them either, so this works for now.

Supes and Wondy are an awesome couple because of the endless possibilities for adventures they will have! However, it is destiny that will keep them from being together forever, when their relationship endangers all of humanity.

I think so far, so good. It's something different, and I'm willing to watch to see how it plays out. I'm a big fan of Superman/Lois, so I think eventually that will be the relationship for him but there's no real reason to rush things for them either, so this works for now.

this i like the Super/Wondy thing now but it will undoubtably go to clark and lois, diana and steve. the reason it wont last is becuase they both need someone to bring them down to earth.

They both understand each other's predicament: Might brings Loneliness to the super. Their mutual empathy and understanding for each other's plight brought them together, and the love that followed..well that was all them.

I think Superman and Wonder Woman as a couple has been pretty fun so far. I hope they keep it up for a while.

I guess it's one of those "about time" moments for the two. from what little I've seen throughout DC over the years, superman and wonder woman seem to have had a thing going for quite some time, and now it's finally been put into play (if it's never happened in pre-52). maybe they'll go the distance, maybe not. only time will see.

@Mr. Kamikaze: I've thought about Wonder Woman and Aquaman myself, though I wouldn't want it to be long lasting. He and Mera are pretty damn solid right now.
