@judasnixon: was thinking the same thing. cant wait to hear what she has to say about the look. i know she's been waiting for dazzler to come back and she HATES mystique. looks like we are going to get a "get mystique II" dazzler vs. mystique

Just saw her Wiki blurb and I'm curious as to what makes her an "Omega Level" mutant? I get that the term is nebulous, but still...

They did the same thing with Speedball and he became an angst-ridden joke.

I am not impressed at all, but then I think the best Dazzler was the one when she had her own comic.

Awful. I'm all for casual-looking superhero costumes but this has no appeal whatsoever. If anything, for such a supposedly "punk rock" redesign this is pretty bland.

This is one of the instances where I was glad to read that everyone else felt similarly to how I did about a topic; gratuitously changing a character with little to no regard for how the property was envisioned or how it has evolved. What makes it worse is the obvious, blatant appeal to a demographic line that should be as equally offended.

One person did point out that it is nice that the character is getting some attention; but hopefully we can all agree that not all attention is a positive. Yeesh.

It's garbage. I guess the artist saw Joker's daughter and thought he could out do him for a crappiest attempt at an edgy redesign.

So apparently Bendis just discovered Nu metal from the late 90's, This look is already terribly dated, I guess Bendis was attempting to modernize Dazzler by barring her from the 80's to the late 90's?, This girl look like she came from a Coal Chamber concert rocking an antichrist superstar T-shirt.

I love Kris Anka's art and his redesigns. He is great.

There's nothing wrong with the design itself, but it makes no sense for Dazzler to be goth all the sudden, especially when goth hasn't been in-style for like 10 years.

...well not the best but I guess it could have turned out way worse

dazzler was never a great character. but Ultimate Dazzler was worst character ever, a shallow cardboard cutout sterotype of emo/punk/metal culture and Bendis made her. Can't believe he's doing the exact same thing again!

I remember there was this guy on Marvel Forum and on CBR who was obsessively in love with Ultimate Dazzler. he posted nonsense for months about how Ultimate dazzler death was worst thing in the world.
I bet he's far too excited about this news.

I hate when they get mediocre artists to do the first draft of a character redesign. Dazzler looks terrible...

So Comicbookgirl19 dresses up like Dazzler, and now Dazzler's dressing up like Comicbookgirl19.

I actually really like the general redesign. Too many holes in her clothes, though.

I like the punk idea, but all the torn holes isnt really working for me. doesnt feel like a superhero but just a punk?

She reminds me of her Age of X outfit. Though I like her face a bit and her turtleneck (I just like them), but the belts and the skirt............ expecially the skirt.......... just no man...... and get rid of those goddamn holes!

Change isn't always bad, and this I can accept....don't love it, but its acceptable.

When she gets angry, she'll become Huzzler.

I love it! Dazzlerr said shes not ok. Plus shes a musician. Very good depiction of anger in fashion.
