Since Daniel Bruhl was announced as playing a villain in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War film, there's been a lot of speculation to who he will be playing, since Captain America has a pretty vast rogue's gallery. According to a casting call posted on MovieCastingCall.org, Bruhl will be playing Baron Zemo.
While the casting call doesn't say what other parts are open in this film, it does say, in the "starring" section that Daniel Bruhl is appearing as Baron Zemo. There's no info yet on which Baron Zemo Bruhl will be playing, or even if his role will be Zemo in the past or present, but we do know that it's a pretty obvious choice to go with one of Captain America's most infamous villains.
There has been no confirmation from Marvel or Marvel Studios as of this time. We'll get to see more of Bruhl hopefully as Zemo when Captain America: Civil War opens up on May 6th, 2016.
