Contest of Champions is a game for mobile platforms that lets players take control of their favorite characters and battles it out in a fast-paced, high-action fighting game. Now, Contest of Champions is coming to Marvel this fall with its own on-going series.
This October, a new series for Marvel will be built around the story for Contest of Champions. The comic, much like the game, will follow numerous super-heroes that are kidnapped and forced to fight thanks to the Collector, as reported by our friends at CNET.
Al Ewing will be taking the lead to write the book and Paco Medina will be doing the art. There was also collaboration with Kablam, the company that made the Contest of Champions video game, on the character designs.
In addition, new characters, like Guillotine, shown above, will make their way into the comic book and into the game as well. CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS hits shelves in October. Check out the cover and preview page below.
