The last time we heard anything about 'The Sub-Mariner' film adaptation was back in August of last year, which was also the last time the film's proposed director, Jonathan Mostow, discussed the film. According to IMDB, the film had been slated for release in 2010. This year. What happened?
Well 'Sub-Mariner' like all things Marvel, in a under a shroud of secrecy it's a project I have been developing, but we will have to see what happens. A question mark hangs over it right now.
What's the hold up? At this point, I would rather see 'The Sub-Mariner's' movie rights return to Marvel and let them bring it to the big screen. Perhaps then, my dreams will come true. What do you guys think? And what characters do you want to see adapted onto the big screen?"Namor, that's a big one...We just got a new draft of the script in.
