Comic Vine Community Star: The Poet

I'll admit, choosing this week's Community Star was not an easy task with the number of different candidates that were nominated; however; a decision has finally been made! Without further ado, please assists me in congratulating The Poet as this week's Comic Vine Community Star. When you first visit The Poet's Comic Vine profile page you'll notice pretty fast that the majority of his contributions to the website have been to our wiki database, raking in a total of 60,626 total wiki points. Some of his most prominent contributions have been to a variety of Disney characters on Comic Vine- Darkwing Duck, for example, is the character page he has most contributed to; garnering 1,661 points for that page. He has also contributed considerably to Mr. Peabody's page gaining 1,113 points, Leonard McCoy's character page (1,075 points) and a variety of other unfamiliar characters. The Poet has made a total of 5,159 total contributions to the Comic Vine wiki, which is absolutely astounding. Due in part to some of The Poet's hard work and dedication, Comic Vine today has a comprehensive character database.

The Poet has spent a lot of his time here on Comic Vine quietly contributing to our database since he first joined about a year and a half ago on January 9th, 2010. It's only recently that The Poet has begun to contribute to the discussions in our forums, and already he has accumulated 624 forum posts.

The Poet has also created a total of 48 different lists. What's at the top of all of his lists, you wonder? Why, his favorite characters! While many of The Poet's favorites are more obscure comic book characters like James Moriarty and Query and Echo- The Riddler is the one that takes the cake as The Poet's favorite comic book character. And who can blame him? In fact, The Poet is so inspired by The Riddler's character, that under the biography section of his profile he has an interesting riddle and some poems to define him.
