Here it goes:

In my dream superman game, I think that Darkseid would be a great video game villain. We could see Apokolips in its full glory too. I'm a fan of the Superman/Batman storyline. I think it would be fun to see Superman battle goons and Darkseid's army on Earth and a fight to rescue Supergirl on Apokolips even. Having to fight her as well before the epic final battle on the Sun. To sum it up, starting on Earth, events happen that leads to up to us meeting Supergirl. Supergirl is kidnapped. We find out that Darkseid was behind it. Fight on Apokolips. Fight on the Sun. Superman wins.

Thanks!

In my dream game it is set up as a cross between arkam city, and god of war. god of war has an extremely smooth and epic battle system, while the secrets and other components of the arkham games make it amazing. the game would need epic boss battles to be able to appeal and make superman interesting. For this, I think you need a boss to the scale that cronos was in god of war. Ultra Humanite or Metallo as giants would be amazing in this game. Having to scale the giant titan villain and battle him in different spots would be pretty amazing. the scale of the boss is the compelling factor. Gameplay has to be a huge aspect.

In my dream game and in most games I like it when a wrench is thrown in to mix it up. In this case with superman I would like to see him take on either darkseid or mongul, ultimately, but as for the story line I would like to see either villain somehow control tier one justice league members and force them to fight superman in a third person pov. The superhero role would be turned on its side for a bit and Superman had to fight friends, along the way with a leveling up system for all his powers would be the icing on the cake. And of course you would need great combo moves for superman to learn. Once superman freed or rescued his friends they might join him for a fight or two along his way to stop mongul or darkseid.

Superman is framed for committing a terrorist act by Luthor. You play as a mix of Clark investigating the incident, and Superman who is trying to unravel the mystery as well while trying to avoid the military and beating whatever Supervillians pop up.

In my game the main villain would be braniac and his plot to turn humans into human batteries. Superman would go through routine missions in the beginning putting out fires, stopping bank robberies, and a car chase. When Superman stops the car chase one of the passengers turns out to be metallo and would engage the first boss fight, after he is defeated metallo would start mumbling robotic kryptonian and then off in the distance a large explosion of light hits and everyone in the radias disapears including lois lane, jimmy olsen, perry white, and other known superman characters. Superman would go to the scene looking for life but find nothing until he finds a piece of luthor tech and is engaged by robots. On his way to luthor's building meteorites start falling from the sky and superman has to destroy them before they hit the public below. Aftwards superman then flys to luthors building where he has to fight multple drones and guards till he reaches luthors main room where luthor's body guard Livewire is waiting for you in another boss fight. After the fight Luthor tells you he has no idea what happened and how superman always just assumes Luthor is involved etc. Then another light wave flashes off in the distance and Superman quickly flies toward it doing side missions on the way like putting out fires and destroying meteorites. When he gets there he finds a large amount of fires that you have to put out and then bizarro shows up, but he's acting differently speaking the same kryptonian language that metallo was after you beat him bizarro mentions a shiny spaceman and bald man. This angers superman and he returns to luthor corp. again side missions along the way. When you get to the building Luthor sicks more robots on you then you have to fight a stronger livewire while Luthor runs to the roof where he is waiting with his green power armor with a braniac symbol on it. You fight Luthor and after you beat him Luthor discusses his plan to exchange a few hundred humans for the rest of the planet and gives you the name of your main villain braniac and points to his symbol on the armor. Then Superman remembers all the falling space rocks, the kryptonian, and his symbol on everything then you fly into space in fun interactive sequence dodging falling meteorites and increasing speed till you reach the ship. Where you fight braniac drones until you get inside where you see all the capsules with people namingly lois. When eradicator shows up for another boss fight. Then you release everyone and exchange lois when you activate a teleporter sending them all back. Then you have to fight braniac for the final boss. After he is beaten he sets the ship to explode and superman returns to a normal earth with regular problems, roll credits, and leave cliffhanger ending.

To play up the modern day trend/craze of Reality TV and movies like the Hunger Games

The Secret to controlling the Phantom Zone is discovered (another dimension) But in turn--other dimensions are discovered as well--

A new reality show is created--Superman is the star/pawn--who has been sucked into another space/time dimension

Cluemaster  (is the host of the new reality show) --But as the story unravels--you'll discover 2 more villains behind the curtain!  Mxyztplk is the (annoying) brains behind the scenes (the one responsible for revealing the secrets to the other dimensions.  And the third would then be Lex Luthor--Who would be the financier/the one pulling the strings/ultimately controlling the dimensional device/the show.

Titano---who once got tricked into getting sucked back into prehistoric times--Superman is sent to him--with all the prehistoric mayhem! --and the only way Superman can hope to survive--is (after he defeats his enemies) and when the next Dimensional Portal opens he passes through it in hopes that it will return him home--But of course it doesn't he is sent to other worlds filled with his past nemeses---But as Superman is discovering there is another way-out of this--and perhaps it involves Krypton...perhaps even his father.

Tah Dah!  Eh!?  Ehhh!?  nudge nudge!

Captain Marvel: I think Captain Marvel works as a Superman villain because their powers are close enough that it would set him apart from the other villains in the game. The game would be Kingdom Come. I think Kingdom Come would work as a game because it has an excellent pace, the artwork would keep the game visually intriguing ,and when you realize the final boss is going to be Captain Marvel the excitement jumps through the roof. I think it would work best with an opening cinematic running you through the early events like the heroes retiring and leaving the world to the more violent heroes, and the Magog trial. The cinematic should end with Parasite's death at the hands of the new heroes. The actual gameplay would start with Superman's coming out of retirement. Some of the game would be recruitment of the other heroes, but there would be plenty of fights against the newer heroes. As far as bosses go the main two would be Magog (at right past the half way point) and Captain Marvel at the end. I think tossing in a confrontation with Batman's group during the initial recruitment attempt wouldn't be a bad idea. I think it would give fanboy's a real sense of excitement, especially for those who are fan's of the original story and aren't expecting it.

My ideal Superman game would take some cues from the "Arkham" Batman game in terms of encountering villains and getting more powerful as the game goes along.

Brainiac would be the main villian in the game, teaming up along with Luthor. In the opening of the game Brainiac would have found a way to temporarily turn Earth's sun into a Red one. As a result Superman loses his powers and becomes helpless. Luthor would then attack Superman and leave him for dead. Then Brainiac and Luthor begin work on their master plan to take over the world. All the while, the rest of Superman's rogues gallery use this time to run a muck over Metropolis and wreak havok.

However, the change to Earth's sun wouldnt be permanent and when Superman does finally recover enough to start fighting back the sun begins reverting back to its yellow state slowly but surely, so Superman begins gaining some of his abilities back starting with super strength. Also, since Superman wouldnt be invulnerable this gives a logical reason for how the player of the game can be beaten and "lose".

Over the course of the story of the game, as the sun reverts back to normal, Superman gains more and more of his powers back. This gives a sense of Superman actually being vulnerable as well as an interesting gameplay mechanic as the boss fights restrict you to the certain set of powers you have at the time. So you can actually "feel" more and more powerful as the game goes on.

The story of the villains would be that Brainiac and Luthor must complete their "ultimate" plan before Superman regains his full abilities. Of course they use the other Superman rogues (Metallo, Bizarro, Parasite, etc.) to try to stop him while he is still depowered.

As far as Brainiac's and Luthor's master plan, I would think the whole "taking over the world" plan is too big for just two guys especially with all the superheroes living in it. So as a result they need an army to help them take over. Luckily for them there is a go to place for a whole armies worth of super powered beings that hate Superman....The Phantom Zone. Their plan would be to unleash Zod and the other Phantom Zone criminals to help them take over Earth at the exact moment that the Sun reverts back to its normal yellow color in order to power up Zod and his cohorts.

So the story of the game would be a race against time. Superman must stop Brainiac and Luthor before they are able to open up the phantom zone unleashing an army of super powered villains upon Metropolis. The finale of the game would see Superman shutting down the opening of the Phantom Zone but not before Zod manages to get out. The final boss battle would be a fully powered Superman going against a fully powered Zod in a battle of the kryptonians.

I always considered Brainiac, Luthor, and Zod to be the "Big Three" of Superman villains so seeing them work together would be an awesome experience seeing as each brings their own ideals and hatred for Superman together. Brainiac provides the tech and the brains, Luthor brings the financial backing, and Zod ultimately brings the muscle for the group.

My choice for an excellent villain in a Superman game would not be a single character but rather the entire Project Cadmus organization. Their cloning experiments would lead them to be able to create many enemies that would actually challenge Superman in a one on one fight, but still give the game plot cohesion. Bizzarro, Superboy, Doomsday, and Cyborg superman are just a few enemies that could have their origins in Cadmus. In addition to these established villains, numerous other crazy abominations based on Superman could be introduced who have never existed before in the comics, keeping an element of freshness to the villain roster. Power-ups could be granted to Superman by using Cadmus serums that he finds on the bodies of defeated foes. This would be an open world game where flying is used as a method for fast travel, and Superman must hunt down each secret Cadmus lab within Metropolis, eventually leading to their main facility where Superman can end the threat once and for all.

I'd like to see superman fight Black Adam & and sphinx because of his vulnerability to magic. The scenario would be him traveling to magic dimensions and to grab an artifact to bring back (maybe rescue lois on the side?) . Just like Morrison and Quietly, the focus of the game should be his amazing adventures and how noble his character is. There has been too many stories trying to humanize him as of late (most of them failing), he is superman for godsakes, which should focus on awesome and outrageous scenarios thats what makes all star superman so good.

I wanna see Superman fight Apollo. I imagine it would start off as a conversation, two super dudes just talking about the world. Eventually Apollo tries to get Superman at admit that his way of doing things isn't what the worlds needs. Then Apollo throws a fist. I'm tired, Goodnight.

My dream Superman game would start him off nearly powerless, but aware of that he is superhuman. Powers would unlock as the story progresses, with early stages limited to jumping with feats of super-strength. After a few levels, Superman would gain unlock super breath and use it in combination with super strength to shatter objects that stand in his path. The game progresses as he learns how to use his laser vision, super speed, and flight. Players can strengthen abilities and attributes through an experience system similar to Astro Boy: Omega Factor for the Gameboy Advance. The final battle would be Superman versus Metallo in a race against time and kryptonite-poisoning.

I would love to see a Superman game that is open-world, like the last Superman game, but the entire city is destructible, Bad Company-style. The final villain would be Luthor, but the twist is near the end of the game, you're injected with Kryptonite, and have to fight bare-knuckled, and you have to beat Lex down in a sequence like Heavy Rain's fistfights.

My Superman game would have Superman on the wrong side of the law. Not by his own choice, being an extra terrestrial of nearly unstoppable power, he is the single greatest threat to the security of the entire world. It is up to the retired members of the Justice Society & the current roster of the Justice League which has been hand picked by President Lex Luthor to find him, subdue him and bring him back into custody of the United States ultra-secret Star Labs for continued study and imprisonment, the only world superman has known since he was an infant found by Jonathan & Martha Kent ( a Roswell-like incident). His only friend is reporter Lois Lane, who is trying to expose the evil acts that are being done behind the walls of Star Labs. She is feeding his story to the world as forces are trying to bring him in telling the tale of malicious experiments on him in the name of science & progress. These experiments would lead us to the greatest villain he faces... a genetic clone of himself developed under the code name: Doomsday, which would be revealed as the first attempt by the United States to create an army of supermen. This superman clone would be ugly, brutal, void of any compassion or emotions, a super powered husk without a soul, the exact opposite of Kal-EL. He is the Bizarro superman. Doomsday/Bizarro superman would be revealed as the real threat once he has been set loose in attempts to bring down Superman & by the revelations of Lois Lane, confirmed by certain members of the Justice Society & League, we see that Superman/Kal-EL is actually only real hope for saving the world from this Star Lab's experiment gone awry. Superman starts out as a mistuderstood villain and ends up being the greatest hero. We get to see Superman's greatest strength, his compassion for the people of Earth in spite of the way he has been mistreated for the majority of his life here.

In my dream Superman game the main villain would be lex luthor. You would start with golden age powers lifting cars, jumping over buildings. As the game progress you amass the power to fly and space becomes an option in the open world setting. Eventually Superman faces more and more issues from the military partnered with luthor until the final battle.

Start the game in Smallville with Clark in his early teenage years just starting to develop his powers. This would make for a fun progression of super moves as your character gets more powerful such as speed, strength, then flying ect. "Superboy" could fight bullies, small crimes and natural disasters. Eventually Clark moves to Metropolis and continues his adventures fighting crime with Lex Luthor as the mastermind creating the chaos. The ultimate villain could be General Zod which ties into the upcoming movie as well as gives a worthy foe to battle who has the same powers as Superman.

The main focus of the game should be the development of Superman from a young weakling with undeveloped powers to the hero we know him as. The new powers could be mini games such as speed trials, searching games with his x-ray vision and so forth. These should stay as MINI games though and allow for a free roaming aspect to explore as Superman.

I LOVE Quitelys work! I have to try out for this!

In my ideal Superman game the villain would be Hank Henshaw. It would be set shortly after the tragic accident that left HAnk Henshaw without a physical body, and trapped inside cyberspace thirsting for Revenge. Hank Henshaws powers will be ramped up a bit here allowing him to take control of almost all technology in Metropolis, in essence pitting Superman against the city itself. At the beginning the game will focus on saving civilians from the chaos by stopping all the wayward machines and trying to find the source of the madness. He will also have to deal with other criminals, and supervillains taking advantage of the chaos. Eventually Hank Henshaw will be able to infiltrate Star Labs, where he is able to take control of tons of anti Superman technology and other mechs which will make for the foot soldiers of the game. The final battle will be where Henshaw finally succeeds in creating his own body and becomes Cyborg Superman who will be the games final boss.

I would love to play a Superman game based off of the Superman/Batman search for Kryptonite story arc. Come on, how boss would Superman with an eye patch look like?! The game could start off with Superman fighting Livewire. Then after that he and Batman can embark on their quest to collect all the Kryptonite on the planet. For the magarity of the game. we will be in his lead lined suit. Some boss battles will include Aquaman, Metallo, Bruiser, Sekhmet, Hotshot, and Brannon among others. And of course, as the final boss battle, none other than The All-American Boy (kryptonite doomsday). You can even have one level where you play as Batman when he has to retrieve the kryptonite from the volcano on Dinosaur Island. i think this would make an awesome game, especially having Superman fight a version of Doomsday that is infused with kryptonite!

I would want Darkseid as my villain. I imagine my game would be Superman reacting to a full-scale invasion of Earth by the forces of Apokolips. It would have Superman battling Darkseid's invasion force while helping the rest of the superheroes save as many people as possible from the havoc released upon the planet. Each level would bring Superman a bit closer to Apokolips, and a final showdown with Darkseid for the fate of the world.

In my Superman video game I would throw the player a total curve ball right off the bat. You would have been depowered by Lex Luthor in the beginning, and would have to spend the game re-acquiring your powers by leveling up (XP from fighting, sun exposure, etc). The player would have the option of picking which powers he wanted at that point in the game, similar to the tech in Arkham Asylum. Oh, and did I mention that Lex Luthor not only depowered Superman, but finally acquired his powers as well. Thereby using them to cause a systematic downfall of everything Superman has worked so hard on to protect. Because let's face it, Just beating Superman is not enough, Lex has to Humiliate hymn as well. Thus the other half of the game will be stopping Lex's rampage on Metropolis, and figuring out what they all mean.

One situation I think would make a great video game level is having Superman awake in the Phantom Zone confused and with an unclear memory of who he is and how he got there. It would be similar to his confusing in the Superman Godfall story when he is trapped in the Bottle City of Kandor. He awakes unsure of who he is and how he got there, and he has to battle a number of Kryptonian and galactic villains who hate the son of Jor-El, who served as their jailor. Each villain he encounters and defeats reveals more information on how he got trapped in the Phantom Zone and who he is, until the pieces come together and Superman’s memory returns. He then must find a way to escape the Phantom Zone and get back to Earth in time to stop Zod from killing billions of people on the planet like he did to the Pocket Universe post-Crisis on Infinite Earths during the Byrne era.

Death of superman, the game starts out your super powerful, with all the abilities of an awesome superman, then you have to battle Doomsday, and there is no way to win without dying yourself. Fade to black and then you need to play as one of the four supermen, Superboy, Steel, Cyborg superman and that other guy. You then get to be superman but your powers are limited while you get stronger your enemies get worse, until you battle Cyborg Superman, (alongside Hal Jordan).

I would use Winslow Schott, the Toyman. The game would open with a strong well-illustrated image of superman flying to the scene of a crime. Upon arrival he is drawn into a new creation of Toyman, a classic 8-bit game where the world of iphone gamers have to use their combined efforts to free superman from his 8-bit prison by playing a variety of games with superman as the avatar. The game could include features where superman comments on how long it has been since you last tried to help him escape or how many players world-wide have completed their task. When the game finishes superman could send your phone a fake call thanking you for a job well done.

Superman: Broken Home

The game would begin with Superman in a Fortress of Solitude simulation, set on Krypton, acting as a navigation and flight tutorial. The simulation is interrupted when the Fortress' computer announces a breach in the Phantom Zone portal. Superman is awakened from the tutorial and must fight his way through the Fortress to the portal control room, acting as a tutorial for the combat system.

He would then return to Metropolis for the rest of the game. The city would be massive and free roam. It would be divided into the usual districts including Hobb's Bay, New Troy, etc. The plot of the game would be largely driven by the public's opinion of Superman, based on the actions you take in the different districts. This would be determined by the frequency of successful missions in that district and the damage done to the city.

Many missions would be time challenges, getting to a rescue as quickly as possible, but it important to note that every action Superman takes has an effect (e.g. flying too fast in the city causes gusts, colliding with a building imparts damage, etc.) After a few rescues, there will be battles with stronger opponents at the end of the races, all of which can either end well or poorly. Every once in a while, there will be a mission that Supes can win, but that have bad consequences regardless of the player's outcome (e.g. a beloved landmark is destroyed, the villain gets away, an innocent dies, etc.) These lead to the eventual and inevitable public dislike of Superman, to the point that Clark cannot appear as Superman in public without being harassed and attacked by citizens and police. This would lead to covert missions in which Clark must stop tragedy without being seen using his powers.

Throughout the game, as either cinematic sequences, or as playable detective segments, Clark, Lois and Jimmy would become suspicious of these many random tragic events and investigate them. They would eventually discover a connection to Lex Luthor and guess that his goal is to architect the renouncement of Superman by the public. Superman confronts Luthor, and Lex activates his power suit and begins a battle. After a long fight, Lex is beat and Superman is about to deliver a final blow (to the suit, mind you. It is Superman after all.) As he winds up, a hand grabs his fist from behind him and actually stops it! He is thrown backwards through a wall and as the dust clears he sees Luthor struggling to his feet behind a smiling General Dru-Zod. Zod reveals that in the Phantom Zone breach at the beginning of the game, instead of attacking Superman directly, he fled the Fortress in the confusion. He sought out Luthor and came up with the plan to destroy Superman's credibility and his image with the people of Earth. "But why not attack me in the first place? Why go through the effort of this and destroy innocent lives?" Superman asks. Zod says that it was not enough to kill Superman. He wanted to destroy the last son of the House of El physically and mentally. Zod wanted to force him through the anguish of being rejected, hated and feared   by the planet and city that he loves, before finally killing him.

Superman rushes at Zod and the final battle ensues. After the battle, both Zod and Superman are badly wounded. Lex comes behind Zod and they smile to each other, knowing that Luthor now has the ability to finish Superman off. Luthor activates a compartment on his suit and reveals a dagger fashioned from Kryptonite. He turns to Zod and, enacting his betrayal, turns the dagger to him, as well. Luthor would never defeat one alien elitist pseudo-savior just to replace him with another one. Before Lex takes Zod's life, Superman, thinking quickly, superheats the dagger using heat vision, causing the crystal to burst and incapacitating Lex. Superman struggles over to Zod and discovers that he was been pierced by Kryptonite shrapnel. He is slowly dying and Superman tells him that the stasis of the Phantom Zone is the only short term solution. They fly as fast as they can to the Fortress and Zod is transported to the Zone, still swearing his revenge on El.

Sorry about the length, I got a little excited while writing this :)

I would like to see Bizarro as one of the villains (not the main one). The scenario: Bizarro world is attempting to merge with the planet Earth, causing all kinds of global disasters. Society is becoming fused with Bizarro World altering placing, people, and wildlife. Superman must find a way to stop from happening (DUH!). As for game play, I think a mesh of Arkham Asylum's third person game play, the openness of Skyrim, and the RPG and story elements of Mass Effect would be interesting to see. I picked Bizarro because he is the polar opposite of Superman. I love he antics and the amount of chaos he brings with him.

I think Mandrakk (the evil vampire Monitor in Final Crisis) would be an interesting villain to have for a Superman game, which would lead to lots of possibilities. Because Mandrakk is a multiverse villain, it would be a chance to have many different playable characters besides Superman. That could be anywhere from Captain Marvel, Overman, Obama Superman, Captain Atom, Apollo, Monitor Nix Uotan, or even the new 52 Superman if you were feeling particularly crazy. The other playable characters could either be extra skins, like in Arkham City, or it could be more like the use of other multiverse versions as in Spider-Man:Shattered Dimensions. You could even have an optional multiplayer mode, or have a game system like in Tales of Symphonia, where the game is a one player game, but you can have friends help out and play as other players on the field instead of having the computer control them. You could also have Mandrakk infect other characters, which might appeal to the vampire craze going on right now. He could infect more obvious characters like Ultraman, which might lead to an interesting fight where the player would have to strategically use heat vision to attack from a distance since Superman and Ultraman can't touch without causing each other to explode. Or you could have Mandrakk infect more interesting characters like Batman. Because honestly, who wouldn't want to play a game where Batman was the big bad guy/threat that Superman had to take down (instead of the usual vice versa)? Along the way, I think it would make it more interesting if you gained some sort of armor like the Monitor robot armor Superman "wears" in Superman Beyond 3D, which could power Superman up/give him more powers *and* be a way to build up to getting to Mandrakk, the final boss. Like I said, there are a lot of possibilities with this character that could combine with other awesome Superman villains to fight, plus it could lead to many different story ideas, and possibly a combination of several great game play ideas to make something unique and fun to play at the same time.

Hush or Black Mask.

I would really dig a street level fighter thug as the main villain. Like Black Mask or Hush. I think it would just be cool for them to take away Supermans powers at the end of the story with some form of K or red Sunlight or something, and he would have to actually fight them with his fists and out think them. It would feel like kinda like fighting the dude in Mass Effect 3, where hes faster and more dangerous, and you have to keep dodging and countering to survive. I feel like a story with one of those characters would be more cerebral than another all out brawler, and that ending where your suddenly powerless would probably be more intense.

Lex Luthor finds a way to control the main Starro and used it to take control of not only all of the other villains, but the Justice League as well. Each boss fight would be a Justice League member teaming up with their rival...so Flash/Captain Cold, Wonder Woman/Cheetah, Green Lantern/Sinestro, Batman/Joker etc.

I miss the old Atari Superman game. I'd love to see that again. Not an updated version, the same exact game. Lex Luthor and 5 underlings escape from jail and Superman has to round them up and build the bridge that they blew up in time for Clark Kent to get to work. I spent hours with this game as a kid and would be happy to have it on my iPad.

My dream superman game fight has to be, of course, against Darkseid. I'd want it to be an all out brawl in the city. A brawl only superman can bring. I'm talking about flight crashing through buildings and using combination moves like super speed and punching to make really awesome action sequences. The fight would be in stages. Start off with Darkseid just shooting omega beams at you. Then when you hit him enough he actually comes down and fights you. And finally a button mash sequence of you pushing him back into a boom tube or the phantom zone to get him away from earth. It has to be Darkseid cause to me he has always been superman's greatest villain. The focus would of the over all game would be trying to stop darkseid invading the earth. Having boss fights against granny goodness and such.

I would like a fight against Doomsday as the opening of a game. Since Doomsday actually killed Superman this fight would not be winnable. Instead it would a dream sequence the player would lose, and foreshadow the evil that is to come. Superman would wake after being defeated and know that he is in for a fight very soon.

I would like to see a game where Superman fought the Parasite. In this, Parasite's sole purpose would be to drain Superman dry of his power, starting by luring him out by draining various places (Daily Planet, etc.). Superman would have to use his mind for a change and come up with clever ways to defeat him, involving items around him. Supes can't stay too close to him without losing all his power in the process.

I would like to see him fight Omni-man from Image's Invincible Universe. I would like to see this because

they are pretty equally matched (except for facial hair). I would have the game

play be a test of strength between the two. Something like can Superman (the

player) do this activity better or faster the Omni-man (the computer). The back story would be about Superman see the

darker mirror image of himself in Omni-man and vice versa.

Superman villain eh? How about Mad Hatter uses his mind control powers to take over Brainiac and the two wreak havoc on Gotham City and take out revenge on Batman. The focus of the game would bring Supes to Gotham to help out a struggling Batman, and the big reveal would be that Brainiac was, of course, using dummy ole Mad Hatter all along to bring Superman out of his Metropolis comfort zone, thinking he was under the control of Mad Hatter, and therefore all this underestimation of Brainiac's power is setting Supes up for bigtime fail.

I would love to see Superman fighting Black Lantern Wonder Woman. This would be interesting not only because of their history within the Justice League (perhaps Green Lantern could make an apparence within this scenario...?) as well as their similar strengths, but also the fact that she's a woman would lead to probable internal conflict for Superman. Also, she is his friend. Having to defend a city or a plot point from a colleague and friend gone mad would be very cool to see.

I'd love to see a Superman game that doesn't try to accomplish everything at once. Instead of trying to fit all his powers into gameplay continuously split things up, have a combat mode where punches and hits have the impact they do in the comics and cartoons, that send people flying through buildings and across cities. Incorporate his powers into practical uses in the game, fly to get places faster, or take the fight away from the citizens. Of course the game would take place in Metropolis, but maybe allow for discovery outside the main cityscape, where you could train or practice up. As far as villains go there should be a variety the make you use different aspects of Superman's powers. A Lobo fight that takes out city block through hand to hand combat, a Parasite one where you have to keep your distance. A superman game is overdue for a proper treatment, one that doesn't try to just copy the successful aspects of Arkham City, or Spider-man but one that makes the most of the character. Or just base one off All Star. That would work too.

in my ideal superman game, supes would fight kryptonians. the early stages would be classic rogues, but not as powerful as superman. maybe they could be citizens of kandor forced to fight against superman. it would be cool to see superman right a dozen kryptonians with his powers (maybe weaker, without as much exposure to the sun). the second to last fight could be trying to fight them while also saving the city, meaning superman has to hold back. but i would have the final level be off world, like on apokolips or even on mongul's world. that way, superman would be free to fight and cause as much destruction as needed to survive. that would be awesome.

I would like to see a really good Superman versus Doomsday; with a twist; Doomsday is a Darkseid creation. Yes, I know; I am slapping continuity and history in the face; but check me out. It starts with a Boom Tube opening over Metropolis and thousands of Parademons are swarming out. The streets are in chaos. Superman appears out from the sky and manages to beat back all of them (hooray). Then as he thinks he is done and gazes into to boom tube which would would be glowing ed from the Atmosphere of Apokolips; Doomsdays comes crushing to the ground. You will fight Doomsday (to no prevail) once he has vanquished you he takes you to Apokolips where you are confronted by Darkseid he tells you his plans of relocating to Earth as Apokolips is on the verge of Destruction. Superman fights Doomsday for round two; this time beating him back and dumping him into one of the many lava pits on Apokolips; and takes this news back to Earth. He quickly prepares for coming battle. 1) Teams up with STAR Labs to find a way to neutralize Apokolips; and two prepares for the invasion army. The final battle will be Superman Running through Umpteen ParaDemons, then has to beat back Granny Goodness and her Female Furies, then has to run through Doomsday Again... (Guys just never stops) then finally has to defeat Darkseid while trying to save Apokolips. The ending would be Superman setting off a series of Boom Tubes in a central part of Apokolips causing it to travel galaxies away from earth for the time being. Also; teasrer ending; Doomsday escapes to Earth. and will confront Superman again.

I love Frank Quitely he is really on another level. My dream Superman scenario would be a throwback to the old sega Death of Superman game I played that game sooooooo many times and wish I didn't burn out my sega because I'd probably still throw it in. You could choose your superman i.e. superboy, steel, cyborg superman, the eradicator or solar suit superman with some badass commando gear as they fight for supermacy in metropolis. I'd make it a huge open world and throw in all of superman's rogues gallery. maybe where you try and win the cities favor, each charator should have a run in with eachother and maybe a more specific enemy like luthor and superboy ( i know at this time we don't know luthor is his human dna half but i think it's cool to be able to take all of the newer material and pump it in) give each superman his own unique playability like soalr suit superman play more of as a third person shooter, steel a beef up tank etc... give them another shot at doomsday then apokolips the depending on your choice of characters a good or evil ending against superman at full power or cyborg superman. and cram hundreds of random missions with characters from the dcu. I'd probably start the game with an epic cinematic where metropolis gets evacuated and then the first battle of the game is a huge doomsday throwdown with tons of collateral damage.

Superman

If I ever get a chance to make a superman game, it would be about his first couple year as a hero. I would make sure to cram as many of classic superman villains as I could into the game well those within storyline so no doomsday or darksied just yet. Lex Luthor will be there voice his opinion and disdain of a being with that much power being on earth. He of course will be the main villain of the game. The game would start in smallville; I would have the players doing farm work with super powers (this would serve as the tutorial). The there would go to another scenario with regular Clark Kent seeing a robbery in progress I would have the player use his laser eyes to melt the gun, then super speed to take the robber out in one punch. (This while not being seen, playing as Clark would about getting things accomplished without getting seen) Other places I would include in the game Legion of superheroes (Time trapper), Metropolis of course I would have him do the classic save the airplane and get an interview with Lois lane. I originally started with a Phantom Zone scenario where supes goes gets trap inside the phantom zone by an unknown enemies ( I still don’t know how Mongul got inside the fortress in the For Man Who has Everything story) Inside I was gonna have him go up against phantoms( beings who originally inhabited the phantom zone) and Kryptonians prisoner who would love to take out Jor-el son ( cause Jor-el came up with the idea to use the PZ as a prison on krypton).

“Stolen Worlds”

Brainiac is Superman’s greatest villain because he is the antithesis of Superman’s Ideal of Acceptance. Superman is considered the great immigrant who comes to his newfound culture and by using his own Kryptonian culture becomes greater than what he was. Brainiac does not accept, Brainiac takes. He is the greed, knowledge and power of ethnocentrism. His way is right; he is the savior of the lesser cultures and worlds. Only his infallible logic and greed can be correct.

Brainiac is also a technological giant capable of creating fantastic armies of robotic terrors to combat and enslave. He is a conqueror.

In Stolen Worlds, Brainiac has savaged the galaxy of the greatest and most powerful worlds, bottling their greatest cities. Superman has pursued him across space to his command ship and now Superman must enter and defeat Brainac and his army in each bottled city. Some of the potential cities could be from the worlds of Rann (Adam Strange), Daxam (Home of Mon-El), Thanagar (Hawkman), Tamaran (Starfire), Kandor (Fellow Kryptonians) and, of course, Metropolis from Earth (There is a myriad of other worlds and options). Each world would allow Superman to interact with the inhabitants, possibly assisting the inhabitants overcoming their own stereotypes and prejudices, before ultimately combating Brainaic’s enslaving forces.

Fellow DCU characters could be added to these interactions within the cities depending on the world that was being saved by Superman.

Once all the worlds’ cities have been saved, Superman could then directly combat Brainiac and his robotic army in the command ship before returning the cities to their rightful stature.

Thanks for the opportunity, I look forward to whichever idea is selected!

Let us fight Doomsday, but re-write the arc from the comics.

Also, just a dream cross-over-that-will-never-happen, SPAWN. Yes, Superman vs. Spawn for no other reason than it would be awesome.

Parasite would make a great video-game villain for Superman. I've always thought a cool Parasite story would involve Parasite being able to reproduce asexually and spawn an infestation of Parasites - the only reason it's never been a problem before is because Parasite always absorbs its brood and none survive. This time however, they eggs have hatched and overwhelmed Metropolis.

Due to Parasite's power stealing/mimicking abilities and the many forms of "pure" parasite hatchlings in game you could have a variety of enemy types and a cool way for Superman to "learn" his powers in game as he finds ways to gain his powers back by defeating different Parasite swarms.

Anyways, that's my two cents on what I'd do with a Superman video game scenario. Fun opportunity!

Write a paragraph (a few sentences) explaining which villain you'd like to see, why that particular villain and what the main focus of your game would be like.

FYI: My Twitter handle is JakeTopkis.

I'd love to fight a big robot from either Brainiac or Lex Luthor. Big, as in the size of an 11-story building. The challenge would be to fly around and weaken the robot, while also preventing the robot from causing property damage. You would have a few seconds to punch some hot points on the robots armor, but then the robot would shoot at a bridge, and you'd have to ice breath the bridge before it breaks, or something. Any free-roaming Superman game would be awesome - where you get to enjoy the scope of being Superman. Something like other free-roaming superhero games. The Superman Returns game came close, and made flying fun - but I know there can be more.

I've played and enjoyed the Chillingo Superman game on my iPhone. It's really cool because you get to experience the streets, the skyscrapers, and outer space! The levels range from fun/easy to challenging (based on how many things you have to prevent from hurting the city). The medal system makes it replayable too.

Anyway, I love Frank Quitely and Superman - so thanks for holding this contest.
