Comic Book Question of the Week: Favorite Spider-Man Villain

Venom of course. Not that tame Venom with the coherent thoughts either. Big Bad Azz "Eat your brain" Venom.. the REAL one.

I have to say Carnage. I love the whole psychotic nature of him.

His self titled series make me love him even more as well... Carnage USA is probably within my top 5 comic series of all time.

I just got those signed on Saturday I was so stoked!

Venom for me. Although I was first introduced to the fox kids one and thought the whole saga was badass.

I've always thought Doc Ock matched up the best with Spidey in terms of power, intelligence and overall movement. Venom and Hobgoblin round out my top 3.

I mean, Venom is awesome, and all, but how much of an actual threat he is is way to inconsistent. One minute he's badass, the next he's practically c-list fodder, etc.

I like Green Goblin and Venom the most. Maybe Green Goblin wins it for me.

Venom is probably the most well known and general fan favorite. And I will always prefer the bruiser Eddie Brock to Flash.

The Lizard

Mysterio's a close second just 'cause I've always loved his look and his general character gimmick, but story-wise, I probably prefer Kraven.

Green goblin, venom, mysterio, carnage, morlun.

Definatly not Goblin. He suffers from the same thing Joker suffers from. Overexposure using the character too much causing fatigue having him basically be behind or be the main threat period of everthing.

Doc Ock proved himself as the best being the one to well kill Peter but do more then just that being able to ruin his life. He had a change of heart but still he could've ruined Peters life more then any other villian ever with Superior alone.

Mysterio is a really cool one i would like in a movie.

But either Venom or Carnage. Probbably Carnage since i prefer the anti-hero Agent Venom then normal Venom. I know alot disagree on Agent Venom but hey it was awesome devolpment and story for Flash and overall made a better more layered character then "kill kill kill"

Sure Carnage is all kill kill kill but we have yet to see a better Carnage and i think he handles it in a better crazy murder then mindless animal way.

Eddie Brock's Venom will probably always be my favorite Spidey Villain.

I see where your getting at LOL, but is he 'your favorite villain' or just somebody to bash on?

As for me, I don't really have a favorite Spider-Man villain 'per se' but for some reason I always was intrigued in the Shocker.

I always loved Mysterio. He was always so strange and interesting. I also like Carnage, Shocker, Kaine, and Calypso.
