Comic Book Question of the Week: Favorite Marvel Villain

Superior Spider-Man! He IS a villain technically, right?

All shall kneel before Doom!

Well, he's already up there. Superior Spider-Man is just Doc Ock in Peter's body.

I'd go for Magneto or Loki, but they're not really villains anymore (and I like it that way), so I voted for Mystique, because she's one of the few really cool female villains (Amora would be another one) and I always love to see her.

I think the big names are Doom, Magneto, Norman Osborn and one could make a case for guys like Kingpin or the Avengers villains like Thanos, Kang, or Ultron.

But favorite? That's harder.

Mystique is a great character as a sort of anti-villain and really they should revive her solo title. Venom and Carnage are undeniably a big part of the comics I read growing up in the 90s. (So was Jackal but ehhh clones.) I love what they've been doing with Sinister lately and Taskmaster always piques my interest.

But I'm sorry, I know that he wouldn't belong on any "best villains" list, but Kraven's Last Hunt really sold me on the character. The catch is that because it was so good, and because of how it ended, every time a Kraven shows up these days it feels lesser.

Gotta go with Doctor Doom.

Well im torn: i have three: Doctor Doom (because he's a beast! and has been a villian probably to every marvel hero out there!)

Thanos (because he is a universal threat and has been the center of a few of th emajor marvel universe wide crossovers)

Magneto (because of his power set an dideals. He's a misguided mutant messiah)
