Chew Keeps Selling Out, Fourth Printing Coming

Have you been reading this tasty series?

Chew has been selling out with each issue.  I reviewed issue #3 last week and you should really try tracking down these issues.  Next month, issues 1, 2 and 3 will be reprinted in time for issue #4's release.  Issue #1 will get a fourth (and final!) printing, a "Last Bite" edition for those that still hunger for a copy of one of the most talked about books this summer.

Here's what creator, John Layman has to say:

I continued to be stunned and staggered by response to this book, and I don't understand it one bit. “CHEW" is about a cannibal cop, set post bird flu alternative reality. Nobody should want to read it, and, yet, it continues to sell out. I’m told we’re now three times as successful as THE WALKING DEAD’s initial launch and, even better, the fans and retailers I’ve heard from are excited for more. So I'm not even going to try to understand it, I'm just going to be grateful to all the readers and retailers and reviewers who have responded so, so, so positively. Thanks!

Chew, issues 1-4, will be on sale September 2, 2009.  It's a 32-page full color comic with a $2.99 price tag.  Again, I say it's a book you should pick up.  Check out my review for issues 1-3.
