I think he makes a much better Loki, but it's always cool to see actors try out for other roles.

I think he definitely has the chops to pull off Thor, I just don't think he has the right voice for it as dumb as that sounds.

I don't think he looks rugged enough for Thor. You can beef up, but you cant change your face that much. Glad he got Loki.

Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston are both great actors and I'm just glad either of them took either role. He most definitely would have had to bulk up for the role though.

I think he would've made a good Thor but he is an even better Loki.

Other than Michael Douglas being cast as an old Hank Pym, I haven't been disappointed at all by any of Marvels casting calls. That being said, I don't think anyone could pull off a better Loki than Tom Hiddleston.

Hmm. He could've beefed up, he wouldn't have used the awful wig, and I'm sure he could act it well... but I think his face would ruin any convincingness from his acting. No ruggedness there to convince me that he's Thor.

Actually very similar to what I was going to say. Doesn't sound dumb, at least to me. I think Hiddleston plays the perfect Loki, he makes the character so much more likable and awesome.

I know what you mean. He could bulk up, and acting-wise, he'd be solid (probably better than Hemmsworth, if we're being honest) but... he just doesn't sound like Thor at all. It wouldn't seem right. And the whole face seems wrong too, I don't know... it seems petty, but it actually does make a difference

Hemsworth certainly deserved the role.

He's become such an iconic Loki I will have a hard time seeing him as anything but.
