We have decided to expand our reviews here. While we tend to heavily focus on the video reviews, there are some that like the written ones as well. With there being so many comics that come out each week, there simply isn't enough time to do a video review for each comic. Plus you'd have to give up other activities like watching TV and eating to watch all of them. Here's a little recap of the written reviews that I've done over the last couple days.

Kevin Smith's Green Hornet
I was surprised by this one.4.5 out of 5.I have to say I'm hooked on the Green Hornet again. I am a little concerned over how the next issue will begin but I have a feeling it will continue to work. Kevin Smith does a good job taking the character and bringing him back for a potential new audience. Pick this issue up so you can follow the series from the beginning.
Thunderbolts #141
A Siege tie-in. Yay!
3 out of 5.It's an interesting dynamic on the team. With Norman busy and these guys loose, you don't know what to expect. For me the main problem is I just don't really care if anything happens to the members of the team, except for Ant-Man. Give him his own book again already.
New Avengers #62
Another Siege tie-in. Yay?
3 out of 5.I can't quite put my finger on it but something feels like it's been missing lately in New Avengers. It used to be at the top of my reading list but lately it's slipped down a bit. Perhaps it's been the change in the art team. Another bit could be that I'm tired of the Hood and his gang. The idea of bad guys banding together makes perfect sense but a lot of these guys are lame. Which is why, I suppose they'd want or need to join a gang. Let's hope the reboot of this title brings it back to greatness.
Teen Titans #80
Is this Teen Titans or Static Shock?
It's painfully a 2.5 out of 5.Because I've been digging this volume of Teen Titans, I will stick around. With Superboy and Kid Flash coming back, perhaps some of that old flavor will return to the book as well. While I respect that Static may have his share of fans and they must be glad he's being featured here, I just don't want so much of the spotlight on him. The art was nice but the story didn't do much for me.
Cowboy Ninja Viking #4
You gotta love this series. No, seriously, you have to.
Read this comic.I've been digging this series from the beginning. While I've given the past issues the highest ratings, I have to give this one a 4 out of 5. Perhaps all the greatness of the past issues has raised my expectations for the following issues. I have no doubt that issue #5 will indeed be an explosive finale to the arc. With the writing, the art and colors, this is simply a book you should not pass on.
X-Factor #202
Wow! An X-team not fighting X-villains!
I give this a solid 4 out of 5.Valeria and Doctor Doom being in the same room is just a scary thought. Even though this story is over, there definitely is room for repercussions to come in the future. Seeing X-Factor interact with non-X-characters was a refreshing change. This book just goes to show that even though there's an "X" in the title, it doesn't have to stick to the regular X-Men formula. I liked the story and use of the FF characters but it felt like there should've been a little more to the ending.
G.I. Joe: Operation HISS #1
Another G.I. Joe comic?
I'd have to give this book a 3 out of 5.I'm curious to see where this story will go. I wonder if there's any constraints due to the possible sequel. Will these events be null if they don't mesh with the movie script? The writing was good but I felt like I was jumping into the middle of a series rather than the first issue. The change in art was interesting but it always bothers me when there isn't just one artist. It felt too brief but I am curious to see what will happen in the next issue.
