Wolverine Weapon X #11

Be prepared for a little more violence.

I wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea of yet another Wolverine series when this started. But we did lose the regular title when it became Dark Wolverine. I also didn't care for Strikeforce X. But if this series can give us more...adult or violent adventures with Wolverine, I'm all for it. Yes Wolverine has a broad appeal but he should be a deadly foe to his enemies. He has freakin' claws. What else is going to use them for besides slicing people up? I'm definitely looking forward to the next issue.

Stephen King's N.

Another journey through the mind of Stephen King.

I'm a big Stephen King fan. I'm glad more of his works are getting adapted into comic book format. I know this story has been out for a little while as it was originally adapted as webisodes. It's a fun and interesting story. Maleev's art is superb and Guggenheim does a nice job setting things up. It just felt too short.

The Mighty Avengers #34

Is the end fast approaching?

It's been an interesting ride. I'm not sure what Hank Pym is up to but Dan Slott has me curious to see what will happen next. The fight in this issue almost felt too rushed. This isn't your typical team of Avengers as they still don't feel like they've fully bonded as a whole. I suppose we shouldn't be too surprised that a Mighty Avengers title hasn't been announce for when the Heroic Age begins.

Sparta U.S.A. #1

Time for something new?

I'm always up for something new. It's interesting to see where this could end up going. I don't know the back story of the town and I wasn't sure if I was supposed to be. I'm intrigued but I haven't decided if I'm hooked yet.
