Captain Marvel in 'Injustice: Gods Among Us'

Isn't his name SHAZAM now?

His head looks tiny compared to his body. I think I'd prefer him without the hood but the rest looks awesome.

Looks odd with the lightning bolt going into his belt O_O This design is meh, nothing great the other characters look better.

Called it! Have to say this costume doesn't differ too much from the New 52 design. Might be more armoured. Looks good :D

Too armory, they should have made it more smoother. But its not that bad.

I've liked the armored version of the other costumes, but I don't much care for this one. It just looks like someone cut off most of his skin and threw a white hood on him to me.

Bring in Black Atom, Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter and I'm sold!!!

not liking it but i guess this is netherrealm's way of making captain marvel not look like a palette swap of superman

@Decoy Elite: Are you sure about that? I've never seen more than about 50 people at one time, and I extrapolated that as big as the earth is there is about 1000 total, give or take a couple. I think you better recheck your numbers.

Idk, I've always liked the name Captain Marvel but after the better part of 30 or 40 years of having a "Captain Marvel" in both DC and Marvel with Marvel owning the title rights, it makes sense that DC would finally make a change.

As for the outfit, he looks like the bastard love child of Superman and the Flash lol.

Depends on the character. A lot of them look fine, but Flash is just plain awful.

I'm not sure for alternate outfits for him. His new 52 costume is pretty much the same without all the lines. I would like to see the outfit when he became the new wizard. The completely white one and the blue one that freddy uses.

I'd like to see it in action before i judge. Right now it looks only ok. Not horrible but not great either. I think they should take it easy on all of the armor for some of the characters if it clearly doesn't work as well.

Goodness, rounding up the rest of the MK vs DC cast I see, We better have Black Adam in there too! C'mon, Aquaman would be perfect as these armored look would go well with Atlantean scaly body armor! Black Manta needs to be here as well as Sinestro! One character I don't think anyone's mentioned is Dr.Fate. With all the fantasy element in Injustice, it'll be nice to see Fate in action.

That is not cool man.

Personally I don't like the hood thing it works for Black Adam because Egypt use hooded wear where as Shazam/Captain Marvel is more Greek and often reminds me of Hercules (I know his strength is a power of shazam) so it would make sense he wouldn't wear a hood.

This costume looks... wrong. I really like the n52 costume, but they made a buncha small changes to it and it all falls apart. The suit looks like he has no skin, the lightning bolt attaches at his neck and belt, and the hood looks too tight (compare it to the bust: http://www.toymania.com/newspics/0812_dcc_shazam.jpg).

Yes! He better have his signature grappling movie, though.

Also, I kind of dig the costume, but the hood isn't doing it for me.
