C2E2 2014: Cosplay Gallery

You can't have a comic convention without Cosplay. Here's over seventy-five pics showing just a tiny sample of what we saw.

This past weekend was C2E2. Each year we head out to the show in Chicago and it's always a fun time. In between doing interviews, buying stuff, and filming the Mystery Art Challenge, we took as many Cosplay pics as we could. There were a lot of great costumes. You have to admire the dedication they put into making the costumes and the dedication in wearing them and having to pose for picture after picture instead of being able to fully enjoy the show. This is just a small representation of what we saw.

Hope you enjoyed. Remember to be respectful in your comments.

It's all about having fun. There were some really good ones.

Glad to see some lesser-known characters get cosplay love. My favorites are probably Crossbones & Polaris. Great work on those two. And the Iron Deathstroke haha.

These were all really cool!

Some absolutely awesome costumes this time around. I don't normally comment on looks, but the girl dressed as Rogue has an absolutely gorgeous face.

Pretty awesome costumes. Though I may be missing something and as awesome as it is I don't get the Thor robot one.

Really liked the Cable too.

All I can think of is that this cheap Sentinel cosplay is still 100 times better than the Sentinels from the Days of Future Past movie

I preferred Hope ;)

Did you catch the Winter Soldier one? Seeing that bionic arm makes me want a Winter Soldier jacket where one sleeve is done like that.

@veshark: No. It was too well hidden for me. :P I guess he and Waldo got one over on me. Darn.

Also somebody is being obscure. Stingray? Really.

Hah.

I like Stingray. He's like the Falcon of the seas.

@veshark: Falcon of the seas.

Why am I thinking of tuna fish?

Damn, that Iron Man suit though.

My favorites have to be the Iron Man Mark 42 at the top, Spider-Man 2099, Arkham City Hugo Strange, and Squirrel girl.

I really like the one of Dr. Guerrero and Pre-New 52 Nightwing.

I love all of them. :)

Really nice pics

Posted by AlwaysBeClothing

That's the best Dr Guerrero cosplay I've ever seen. The Nightwing he's with is also pretty good!

Some really good work on these.

Batgirl was magnificent

Cinematic Pepper Potts from IM3 was well done.

Scarlet Witch and Polaris were the best team cosplay of the show.

Great Green Hulk...

...but That Iron Man Mark 42 armor was the business.

Nope. Tuna Fish!

See?

See, this is what I'm talking about. A bunch of clearly passionate people having a blast expressing their joy for the medium. A lot of love clearly went into making all of these costumes.

I've gone the last two years. The costumes were even better this year than they were then, I think the $10K competition on Saturday helped elevate the number of talented people coming in. Can't wait for next year!!

That is a bad ass Deathstroke costume with all the fancy armor except that his helmet looks like he just re-painted his old Iron Man helmet into Slades helmet which isn't so bad at all.

Wow, I went Saturday and took a bunch of pictures and I don't think I saw more than 5 or 6 of the same people. I missed quite a few good ones. I got a pic of a pretty good Winter Soldier as I was leaving.
