Bradley Cooper is Rocket Raccoon

The more I hear about this movie the more it upsets me. This is seriously gonna happen before a Wonder Woman move...shame on you Warner Bros.

I'm so stoked for this movie, it's unbelievable. I've been reading Guardians for years, dealing with the cancellations and no reprints of trades and whatnot.

Finally, The Guardians are in the spotlight again :D

@wolverine08: Ironic you'd put that video since I would much rather and greatly prefer Tom Hardy to play as Rocket Racoon.

This is officially GotG movies first negative point for me. I don't think he'll be a terrible Rocket. I just really would rather have Tom Hardy. *sigh* guess you can't pick you're cake and eat it too.

This news ensures my wife will be watching this with me...but Rocket Raccoon needs better crystal blue eyes.

Seems strange to cast a guy best known for his looks as a voice for a raccoon, but he's funny so it's cool with me.

I'm not hating this

I'm sure Bradley Cooper will be good, and I think his voice is a good fit as well. I just really don't get why they always hire big name actors for these types of roles when they could get terrific seasoned voice actors for a fraction of the cost.

All I hear when I see Rocket Racoon is Tom Hardy from the movie Bronson...... It cracks me up every time.

Where in my comment did I say anything negative about this film? I simply stated that for this to be made before Wonder Woman, one of the most popular heroes ever, is ridiculous, if anything, I was criticizing WB not this movie.

I really hope it's not the "Blam! Murdered you!" Rocket.

That is to Rocket what Daniel Way's Deadpool is to regular Deadpool.

I still think Vin Diesel would have been a better choice as Drax. He WAS the body model after all for this incarnation.

I lose interest with every new announcement

I neither hate nor love this, but the rest of the movie still looks reallllyyyyy good so far, especially the leaked footage

Like....why?

I am NOT let-down by these announcements, but why? Is it because there's so many C.G. characters that they want big names on the poster to ensure SOME kind of box office draw? Nothing about Cooper, Spader OR Diesel suggests they'd be amazing as these characters.

I overreacted when I heard this news too. But trust me after watching this video that someone posted on IGN. It has got me convinced that he can actually pull this off. Watch it from the 4:17- on mark.

i will be amazed if this movie isnt a trainwreck. seriously, it has so many things that can go wrong it's like freaking russian roulette with a revolver with only one chamber empty.

I think Cooper is a great actor and interesting choice for Rocket. Is Rocket having a cockney accent canon because I never recall that being a thing in the comics

OK I understand that an ensemble cast is good for this movie considering that the characters are mainly unknown to the general public, but Marvel should really stop casting actors like Cooper, Diesel, Saldana, Pace... They should save them for other franchises, space them out across their films/universe.

I Don't see why people are freaking out about Diesel and Cooper getting cast as CGI characters...... It's not like Marvel can't cast them as other characters in the future if they wanted.... "Oh no! Cooper can't play Dare Devil now because he was a raccoon!" No one will know the difference......

Don't know how this movie gonna be, but Marvel movies get some spot on castings.

It's to do with Warner Brothers having no faith in all the amazing characters they're sitting on and just constantly going back to the Batman and Superman well. Meanwhile Marvel is going nuts and giving us things like this, Ant Man and Dr. Strange.
