Another comic book property has been optioned to be adapted for television. BOOM! Studios' COW BOY, by Nate Cosby and Chris Eliopoulos. According to TheWrap, DreamWorks Animation has optioned the property for television.
Brendan Hay, who was the showrunner of "The Croods," will write and executive produce the show alongside Stephen Christy and Ross Richie of BOOM! Studios.
COW BOY follows a young bounty hunter, Boyd Linney, who is determined to send his who outlaw family to jail. He won't stop until everyone is in jail.
The book originally was put out by Archaia, a BOOM! imprint, and was nominated for a 2013 Eisner for "Best Publication for Kids."
Aside from COW BOY, BOOM! also has a live action version of THE LUMBERJANES in development with 20th Century Fox.
