Beware the Batman - 'Instinct' Clips and Images

Professor Pyg and Toad are back. They're ready to party with the rich in Gotham.

This Saturday you can catch another all-new episode of Beware the Batman. On October 5, at 10:00 a.m. PST/EST, "Instinct" airs as part of DC Nation on Cartoon Network.

Professor Pyg and Mr. Toad are back…and they’ve set their sights on Gotham’s elite couture culture. Leaving clues that only Batman can decipher, they attack both a model and a clothing designer – encasing them in deadly traps. Although Batman and Katana are able to save the day, they miss Pyg and Toad’s master plan: to destroy the yacht where the after-party for Gotham’s Fashion Week is being staged. Every fashion icon in the world will be there… as well as Bruce Wayne!

Here's a clip of Bruce Wayne and Katana trying to enjoy a dinner out.

Here's an action clip with Batman facing Professor Pyg and Toad.

Want more? Here's some images from the episode.

A bit glad to be back to regular supervillains after a heavy focus on the League of Assassins.

@teneyedmen: Really. The regulars kinda suck, I'd rather them progress with the LoA. I was happy when Humpty Dumpty fell off the wall, and Catwoman ripoff loss her soul this episode should have pyg and toad disappear :)

Why, oh why use a character at all, if he is completely different from the comics?!?!?

Imean, of course you cannot take Pyg straight out of the comic into a kids show, but then they shouldn't use him at all. He doesn't even look like Pyg.

Man, I really hope the character gets used in the comics again, sometime soon. Since Morrison left we didn't really got much from him. Its such a creepy and great villain, I want to see more of him... if done right. No need for a kids version, though.

This show is really unoriginal and hardly surprising. But I'll keep watching ot anyway

Okay, so I haven't watched any of this show (mostly just assumed it was in the same vein as the Green Lantern series which I couldn't really get into). Sure, I don't like the art style, but I really enjoyed the first season of Transformers Prime, so I can look past it. I guess I've just gotten accustomed to the idea that animated Batman peaked in the DCAU and everything after has been searching for some gimmick to make the perfected formula feel fresh again (Japanimation for "The Batman", Cameos and Camp for Brave & Bold, Fidelity to Comics for the animated features). In short, this show was just never on my radar.

But that first clip there... wow. It actually looks like it may be really good.

This show isn't so bad

I actually thought this was one of the better episodes so far. Pyg is anything but one of my favorite villains, and I really didn't get the point of his plan, it felt like something out of Batman 66, but I can overlook all of that since the Batman character moments were top notch. It's always satisfying to gain insights into Bruce's psyche.
