Beware the Batman - 'Family' Clips and Images

The League of Assassins in after the Soultaker sword. Their plan is to kidnap Bruce Wayne in order to get it...

Beware the Batman returns this Saturday, September 7, at 10:00 on the DC Nation hour on Cartoon Network. "Family" continues the story with the Soultaker and the League of Assassins.

With the League of Assassins knowing where the SoulTaker Sword is, but unable to get Katana to return it, they decide their only course of action is to kidnap Bruce Wayne and hold him for ransom – that ransom being the sword. Of course, they don’t realize that Bruce Wayne is actually Batman! When Katana shows up to turn over the sword and rescue Wayne, Alfred causes a diversion, allowing Wayne to don the Batman suit and join the battle. Teaming with Katana to end the League, Batman finds himself in an all-out ninja fight that ends with a startling revelation.

Check out these video clips from the episode (you can also check them out on our video player HERE and HERE).

Yeah........................ Anyone else wish this was a Batman and The Outsiders show? Like where the focus wasn't on Batman and he just lead the team? I know I do.

is it good? I never watched this or Brave and the Bold because of how they look.

Love it! Definitely stoked for the episode!

I just realized that Doodlebug, Junkyard (The 2 artists that worked with Anarky), Magpie and Humpty Dumpty were all from the same book (Arkham Asylum: Living hell) I wonder why that is?

Happy to see Beware the Batman is back for the month of September (more episode details can be found here). This and Legend of Korra make for a fun Friday-Saturday one two punch.

So that's Lady Shiva not Talia huh? I'm digging the character design though not seeing her in action one never knows. I'm just happy I got a reason t wake up early Satuday mornings again.

Me too, and also the Arkham City...

Play Arts Kai is my all time favorite Batman action figure tho, the 9 inch collectible one, this figurine is awesome, I first saw them at Comicon, the love was at first sight and I find the right place to order, right from the heart of the Hollywood, Santa Monica PuzzleZoo toy store. the HArley Quinn is hit. Click the first link, promise you see what I mean.

I absolutely loved the Animated series, I am as much a fan of Batman Beyond as the next guy and I was blown away by The Batman. I have to admit that I haven't seen The Brave and the Bold, but other than that I have seen pretty much seen all animated versions of Batman.

Anyways, my point is that I really enjoyed the cartoon style of drawing in these shows. From what I have seen so far I am not really liking this CGI stuff. Oh well, maybe I just need to see a couple of full episodes to find out that it is actually really cool. After all, we comic fans never like change much at first :)
