The variant cover to BEFORE WATCHMEN #4 by artist Ivan Reis is stunning. There is so much attention to detail in this one, incredibly striking image. The shadows covering Rorschach's face and shrouding the character in darkness are just perfect. The way the artist uses shadows to highlight the details in the character's coat and environment is truly stunning making this one a visually striking cover, indeed.

Sometimes a comic cover doesn't need to be incredibly detailed to be visually striking. That is the case with the cover to BLACKACRE #4, depicting a man's bloody arms in chains before a bright, white background. It's the kind of image that makes you look twice in part because of its simplicity and the message the artist Brian Churilla is trying to convey.
