Check out what books really knocked out socks off this week!

Welcome back to Best Comic Book Covers of the Week, featuring the coolest covers for the week of May 30th. This week, the Comic Vine staff picked out some really cool covers, and as always, we ask you guys on Twitter what comic book cover you liked best, as well. Here's the picks for the week!

TREES #1 by Jason Howard

First up, this week, is TREES #1 by Jason Howard. Image Comics newest series has a pretty stunning cover. We love how the trunk plows into the ground at the roots of the tree create the outline of a skull.

BATMAN #31 by Greg Capullo & FCO Plascenia

Next is BATMAN #31 by Greg Capullo. All of the covers of BATMAN have been pretty awesome, but what is really awesome is the color work by FCO Plascencia. The sunset looks beautiful over the city of Gotham.

DEADPOOL #29 by Mark Brooks

No Caption Provided

Here is DEADPOOL #29 by Mark Brooks. The cover, in itself, is fantastic, but what Brooks nails, on this and other DEADPOOL covers in the past, is the comedic side of the character, especially when Deadpool draws all over the face of a very dead Uatu.

NIGHTWING #30 by Eddy Barrows, Eber Ferreira and Marcelo Maiolo

No Caption Provided

Lastly, we have NIGHTWING #30 by Eddy Barrows, Eber Ferreira, and Marcelo Maiolo. This is a very startling cover and says a lot about Nightwing's journey over the past months, with FOREVER EVIL. The water droplets looks especially cool here.

Here's your Twitter pick of the week!
