Let's take a gander at what we loved, cover wise, this past week in comics!

Welcome back to Best Comic Book Covers of the Week where the staff of Comic Vine picks out the coolest of the cool in covers for the past week in comics. It's one of those things where the title explains it all. Let's get right down to business and discuss this week's covers.

MS. MARVEL #1 by Sara Pichelli

No Caption Provided

First this week is MS. MARVEL #1 by Sara Pichelli. Not only was this book awesome, but the cover was pretty awesome as well, like the vast majority of Pichelli's art. Aside from the great art and colors, the layout, with only showing half of Kamala's face, was really cool.

THE PUNISHER #1 by Mitch Gerads

Next on our list is THE PUNISHER #1 by Mitch Gerads. The layout for this cover is really cool. In the far background, we have a road map of the Los Angeles area. On top of that is the Punisher, and in the front are some palm trees and a city scape. It's a very cool layout.

THE PUNISHER #1 by Salvador Larroca

Next on our list is THE PUNISHER #1 by Salvador Larroca. Wait... I feel like I've written most of that before. Yes, we have TWO PUNISHER covers on our list this week. Punisher looks pretty awesome here and not just because he's wearing sunglasses. Larroca does a stellar here, especially with the background.

BLACK WIDOW #3 by Phil Noto

Here we have BLACK WIDOW #3 by Phil Noto. We just love how Noto draws Black Widow, especially her face and facial expressions. The cover to this issue feels so full and he utilizes the entire area very well. The colors, on top of everything else, also look beautiful .

GREEN ARROW #28 by Andrea Sorrentino & Marcelo Maiolo

No Caption Provided

Here we have GREEN ARROW #28 by Andrea Sorrentino & Marcelo Maiolo. First off, the colors, or color, are really intense on this cover and shades of red burn over this image. Andrea's art is very striking and the covers for The Outsiders War have all been excellent.

BALTIMORE: CHAPEL OF BONES #2 by Ben Stenbeck

No Caption Provided

This little number is BALTIMORE: CHAPEL OF BONES #2 by Ben Stenbeck. Weird creatures on a cover is always a plus, and we love the way Stenbeck utilizes the space on this cover to draw your eyes to the top and move right down. Super-cool layout.

ARCHER & ARMSTRONG #0 by Joe Eisma

No Caption Provided

Finally, we have ARCHER & ARMSTRONG #0 by Joe Eisma. What we enjoyed about this variant cover was the humor in it, with Archer on the back of the milk carton, while he's actually out beating people out. Eisma's art looks fantastic here as well as his colors.
