Welcome back! As you may or may not know, each week, we fine folks here at Comic Vine discuss the coolest comic book covers of the week and put them into a delightful little package for you fine folks here. This week, there were some really cool covers that caught our eye, so let's take a look at what we thought was the coolest covers for the week of February 14th, 2014.

DEADPOOL #23 by Mark Brooks

First on the list this week is DEADPOOL #23 by Mark Brooks. Not only is the design and color work incredibly beautiful, but it's an homage to one amazing film. This cover really captures the overall light-hearted spirit of this book.

BATGIRL #28 by Alex Garner

Coming up next, on our list, is BATGIRL #28 by Alex Garner. We seem to have a bit of a cover crush of Garner's work, since BATGIRL appears pretty regularly on here. The was he places the characters, on the cover, is always interesting and the color work here is fantastic.

ALL NEW X-MEN #23 by Dale Keown (Variant)

No Caption Provided

Next, we have the variant cover to ALL NEW X-MEN #23 by Dale Keown. Keown always does some great work and the amount of detail he puts into Groot is fantastic. What we really love about the cover is that it's one fantastic joke. We finally get to see what Groot is thinking when he says "I am Groot."

BATMAN #28 by Dustin Nguyen

No Caption Provided

Here with BATMAN #28 by Dustin Nguyen, we get something a bit different. There are no characters or familiar faces on this cover. It's simply a lock to a cell, with a batsymbol. The color work here here is awesome and we love the light hitting the lock. This is one super-cool cover.

KICK-ASS 3 #6 by Jerome Opeña & Dave McCaig

No Caption Provided

Finally, we have KICK-ASS 3 #6 by Jerome Opeña & Dave McCaig. We love this classic look to this cover on top, which quickly turns ultra-violent as your eyes move down the page. McCaig does wonders with colors here to give this cover a very classic look.
