Best Comic Book Covers of the Week: 12/12/14

What covers did the staff of Comic Vine find to be the cat's pajamas?

Has it been a long week for you? Are your arms tired from driving the pick axe of life into the world of rocks? That doesn't make sense. Anyway, it's Friday so it's time to take a look at what covers blew us away this week. The staff of Comic Vine has a few picked out for you folks, since it was actually a bit of a small week. Let's get down to business and see what we got.

DEATH OF WOLVERINE: THE LOGAN LEGACY #6 by Alex Garner

First up is DEATH OF WOLVERINE: THE LOGAN LEGACY #6 by Alex Garner. It's bizarre to see Garner not drawing Batman or Batgirl, but what we can say is that Mystique looks pretty awesome. Garner always turns out some great looking stuff.

GREEN LANTERN CORPS #37 by Darwyn Cooke

Next up is GREEN LANTERN CORPS #37 by Darwyn Cooke. Guys, Darwyn Cooke is pretty awesome. He adapts these characters to his style and it looks just so awesome. It's an awe inspiring cover.

COFFIN HILL #14 by Dave Johnson

Finally, here's COFFIN HILL #14 by Dave Johnson. This issue caught our eye from how the cover looks a bit distressed, and the cover has a limited color palate. Overall, it's just a cool looking cover.

Twitter Pick: THE VALIANT #1 by Paolo Rivera

You guys picked THE VALIANT #1 by Paolo Rivera. It's Valiant's new giant event and Rivera kicks us off with one awesome cover featuring a whole slew of Valiant characters. The color work here is fantastic.
