It's that time of the week. Time to look at the latest edition of Best Battles in New Comics. Comics often feature big battles with superheroes fighting supervillains. Sometimes we even have superheroes fighting other superheroes. Get ready to cheer and possibly cringe at the brutal punches being thrown.
HULK #15
The fight continues. Actually it comes to a conclusion in this issue. Hulk Doc Green has been going after the other Gamma-irradiated characters and "curing" them. His fight against Red Hulk has been going on and it hasn't been going in Hulk's favor.
While Hulk barely survived last issue, it looks like Thunderbolt Ross still has a lot of fight in him. But that's okay. Hulk plays it cool. He's confident he's going to win for one reason.
Hulk says he's the Alpha. Obviously, this is where the fight takes a turn. Hulk is done playing around. With that "SKRACK," you can see he's not holding back anymore.
Is there any doubt who would win? Remember that one line Hulk likes to say?
There is more to the fight than this. This is just a snippet of the action contained. How does it really end? Are there any twists beyond? There definitely is more to the story coming up in the next issue.
DEADLY CLASS #12
Man oh man. There's been quite a bit of craziness going on in this title. Marcus Lopez recruited his friends to help take down his childhood (and pretty insane) nemesis. Literally moments following their big battle, Marcus and Maria find themselves facing a guy with powerful connections. Let's just say he's not too happy with certain events that happened before concerning his son. As a result, he unleashes a couple of his top killers after them. Marcus and Maria have no choice but to run. But they do go to a school for assassins so they're not too ill prepared, right?
These guys are no slouches. A grenade them? That's nothing. Deflected back at them, they continue trying to get away. It comes down to them having to make a stand. Maria is fully aware of who they are and what their capable of. She's ready to face them, head on.
With the two killers headed directly at her, can she take them out? And where did Marcus go? Did he really bail on her and leave her to deal with them on her own?
Nope.
Look at that glorious violence and mayhem. Don't try this at home, kids. It's all very impressive but believe it or not, the fight isn't even over yet. Or perhaps it soon will be for someone...
AMAZING X-MEN #19
Juggernaut is back in power now. He's pretty powerful now and is seeking vengeance against the X-Men. There's one X-Man that has a chance to try to stop him.
The problem is, Juggernaut always put up a pretty good fight against the X-Men. Colossus has tasted the power of the Juggernaut himself before. He unleashes a series of blow against Cain but let's not forget one thing:
He is the "unstoppable Juggernaut" after all. He patiently took all of Colossus' punches and now it's his turn.
Oof. The punch sends him flying. There's been some breaking of bones. Juggernaut isn't finished making his point. Colossus can't back down either.
The fight will soon come to an end. The question is, whose end? Is there any way for Colossus to stop him?
