It says it's the photo with the color filters removed, therefore showing how bright the colors really are.... well I hope it's real.

If that's what it really loos like it's not muted at all. Skirts a bit short but it beats the undies.

They do make solid arguments at times but since I didn't feel like debating HR I decided to put my money where my mouth is.

@saint_wildcard: It's silly to think that Cap 3 will make more money than BvS. Now he could have made a reasonable bet on the quality of the film but making a bet on such a subjective stipulation isn't the best money maker either.

Am i the only one who doesnt like the monochrome costumes. I can imagine the fute JL with Batman is all black, Superman is blue and red (one on back other on front), Wonderwoman Brown, flash red, green lantern green....

Plus: She reminds me way too much of Xena the warrior princess... especially because of the colour scheme.

@scavengerfist: Nice to know we think alike! The future DC films aren't taking off from a stable film with 'Man of Steel'. I think there biggest problem is still going to be when They want a Wonder Woman film and realize that Gal Gadot is not someone who carries a film and potential franchise.

@outside_85: I don't actually think they gave her wedges to bridge the height gap, Gal is by no means tiny. They put her in high heels for the same reason they chose a lean model to begin with, because they prioritize attractiveness over strength, Anne Hathaway wore stilettos. Superman towers above Wonder Woman in the comic books anyway, save The New Frontier. 4 cm is almost unnoticeable whereas for me seeing Wonder Woman wearing high heels is quite unsettling

@lvenger@riosishere: exactly what I was thinking, DC movies are missing something, that something to make ordinary moviegoers squeal and be excited with. Nolan's Batman series was great IMHO but I felt Man of Steel was a little bit off, and another opinion coming into mind is I can't shake this feeling that this movie is rushed for a JL film to be set.

Too be fair She said she reduced her role to a cameo because she said she still needed to get in shape. So she will get more buff, and assumingly Wonder Woman will get full armor later.

But if it's noticable... honestly I think it will be if there is a shot of the three standing still (and if Snyder doesn't use the Parkinson-patient he used to hold the camera's in MoS).

@outside_85: They could've opted for a 1-inch cuban heel on an equestrian boot, she would've reached 181. Cavil is only 4 cm taller which is hardly noticeable. Tom Hardy (Bane) is 175, 8 shorter than Christian Bale yet Bane is supposed to tower above the Bat.

But I have a sneaking suspicion that she's gotten the wedges to equalize the simply difference in height between her (178cm), Cavill (185cm) and Affleck (189cm). (Since if there's one thing you shouldn't be able to do with Diana is think of her as tiny).

It looks like a mix of her new 52 costume (the short sword and lines on her top) and her classic costume (the general color scheme) with a few added touches. I like it but a good costume isn't going to make up for her portrayal. Let's just hope they get ww right.

Loads of people are lapping this up like it's some kind of divine revelation from on high. Applying thought or logic to these reveals easily shows how empty and vacuous the DC Cinematic Universe is and how Marvel have a much better grasp than Warner Bros or DC could ever hope to grasp.

@saint_wildcard: Meh, it's still not a groundbreaking costume due to the fact it doesn't allow for neat additions such as a battle skirt or more functional, practical Greek armour additions. That would have been much better than what we see here. Plus Gadot does not look like a convincing Wonder Woman at all. Her complextion looks way too pale and skinny for the Wonder Woman costume and she's not nearly bulked out enough to look like Wonder Woman. And that's not even considering the most important aspect; whether Gadot acts like Wonder Woman. And her acting resume leaves a lot to be desired so the trade off that Gadot was supposed to look like Wonder Woman hasn't paid off IMO.

I don't get the whole "she needs more muscles" complaint. Most interpretations of WW I've seen she really wasn't well defined, curvaceous yeah, but not muscular.

The costume itself doesn't look bad, but are they ever going to release any pics or footage that won't make this movie look incredibly depressing?

No, i am not impressed with the costume, she kinda looks a bit anorexic, who knows maybe i might look better in the movie.

Gal wasnt my first choice for wonder woman.She however looks good and support her.

TDKR in live action form basically. Not gonna lie it looks great though, but Supes better not get his ass kicked. It'd be AWESOME if they brought the release date back to 2015
