Costume looks fantastic! Exactly along the lines of what I was hoping for.

Still unhappy with Gadot in that role. Looks like Keira Knightley cosplaying.

@ms-lola: while I won't argue about the name of the boots or being more functional than "high heels". There's a reason why athletes, military and various labor workers wear flat shoes. They are far far better than wearing anything with a high heel. No one in this thread has proved otherwise. Now with that said, it's a fictional film so it doesn't really matter. PS, I think everyone here deserves to see a pic of u in those tassels an boots. Just playing.

I agree. It would make a lot more sense if they put combat boots on her. They can look just as awesome, buckles and straps, etc. And I think you should be an ambassador of some sort because you managed to make me literally laugh out loud with your last comment. @mrtummytumms: Really? That's just silly, why would her Amazonian outfit be Patriotic for America? If she makes a new outfit out of her Armor that's more representative of the JLA that would make sense, but her first outfit being patriotic doesn't make any sense, really.

Matter of opinion man, To me Gal is not attractive and in that costume is wearing her not the other way around because she has zero curves, that is a problem.

What you said pretty much means that Superman could be fat because he has super strength so it would still make sense. There Superheroes they are supposed to be at peak physical conditioning to buy into the fantasy. Gal does not even look attractive she has no curves and looks like she is fragile she looks like a model and not a Victoria secret model an normal runway model, which are off putting to many men and women because of there sickly frames.

Good for you, style over substance/practicality, but thats how you feel.

Now, since we probably can't have an actual warrior to speak her mind, I will simply ask for an athlete to give her two cents as well.

Actually, I chose practicality by agreeing with a poster who responded to that comment I made. Combat boots would be the better choice, by far, and could look just as good. Saying style beats practically for any warrior is, forgive the opinion, stupid. Any warrior, woman or man, would agree with that (I hope).

I like it a lot but I hope it's a little more red than what's shown here. Could be this specific picture though, kind of like the Batman picture where we couldn't make out the color scheme of his suit.

@outside_85: I really didn't. I think the costume looks great, sure, and yes, those boots are killer from a fashionista's point of view (or not) but clearly they are impractical. Diana wouldn't wear them. No way. People wear heels for only two reasons: Height and fashion. I have yet to come across anyone who's come home from a long day or night and slipped on a pair of heeled anything for comfort, haha.

Overall, I love this costume but the wedges are wrong. They are better than heels, but this had to have been some kind of compromise. The original costume probably had heels, marketing showed the design to some focus group and the response was probably mixed (sexy vs functionality) so they had a eureka moment and declared, "Wedge Boots!!"

Yes he could... if the creators originally made him like that... his powers dont come from his physicals. They come from the sun... so he could be fat and he'd still be super strong. The same with wonder woman. Her strength comes from being a amazonian

It's actually considered manlier not to smile, woman dig it! So it doesn't necessarily mean he's not happy to be there.

She looks good but I definitely won't mind if she had a little more muscle mass.

Only thing i dknt like is she seems to be wearing high heels. A warrior wouldnt wear high heels.

Looks great to me and I don't really have too many complaints. For a first costume I think it works.
