@LordRequiem: It's definitely not one of my favourite films but despite the fact Schwarzenegger doesn't get the Mr Freeze character right at all, his one liners are a bit of a guilty pleasure for me. Another personal favourite of mine is "A laundry service that delivers. Wow!" That one was actually witty.

@Lvenger: "In this universe, there's only one absolute... everything freezes!" I love that film. People hate it all they want, but Schwarzenegger as Freeze was a stroke of genius.

I wonder what Mr Freeze has to do with the Court of Owls. It's a strange link. If Snyder takes the route of Freeze being a tenuous ally like he was in Arkham City then that would be an interesting story.

@War Killer: agreed. The Batman Arkam city mr freeze was the best version of him i have ever seen. I always remember him saying "Death is cold Batman" all the times I died on that level.

Super excited for Mr. Freeze. While I actually really liked what the New 52 did with Captain Cold I hope they don't make Freeze a meta. The technology is one of the better aspects of his aesthetic.

Art is amazing, and about darn time Victor Fries made his return to DC in the New 52. Great stuff!

P.S After the Owls arc in batman (which im loving btw) PLEASSSE right a good Two-face or Joker arc story!

@RiddlingGambit: batman has MANY villains they cant all be expected to be put all within only 6 months of the new 52. i mean were talkin about the batman rougue gallery here. its gonna take time before all his villains are introduced into the stories. and to top it off batman is facing a new mysterious villain which is going to lead into an event(night of the owls) so just be patient...i myself am just waiting for Two-Face to get his appearance/arc in the new 52 bat-series.

You should check out the Bane and Poison Ivy one shots which were released simultaneously,miles ahead of Freeze.

Meh Freeze never interested me(Captain Cold ftw) but Snyder has the potential to do something great.Though the COO connection has me skeptical.

The cover looks AWESOME, I love owls (obvious fact) and the Tytos look beautiful

Huge fan of Freeze, definitely looking forward to seeing Snyders take on him as well as the other classic rogues in the future.

I am looking forward to reading all three of the annuals that DC announced today.

I am happy that we get an extra dose of Scott's work in May. It has been too long since we have had someone with this much talent guiding the bat-comics.

Really interested by this Batman arc, would like to pick up the trade eventually.

Mr. Freeze? Great. Snyder? Even better.

Game on.

Hmm maybe Mr. Freeze was once one of the Owl assassians/ Talon, his eyes on the cover look like it.

I think that's great. :) Mr. Freeze doesn't have the best run of story-lines in comics, but with Scott Snyder at the helm, I'm sure we'll get something memorable. :)

Mr. Freeze is so under rated I hope he can breakout of Batman titles and cause havoc somewhere else. Maybe he could even team up with Captain Cold and try and put the hurt on the Flash
