Dear god another batman character ? Why do we have to get her she sucks give us jason Todd or better not another batman character.

I feel like this is fake, you know? Ed got ton of messages for MM to be DLC, so I feel that this might be fake to go a long with the rumored codes found in the game for Zod, Scorpion, and Batgirl which they could be placeholders.

I would like something a little less...batman, other people have villains too, and i want zatanna to be in this game so badly but she probably...sadly.

remember the good old days? when you could unlock new characters and skins by just playing the game? i hate it if a developer release the game in little pieces like this. though i want this game really bad, i'll be waiting for some kind of "complete edition".

Now I'm sure the guys at Netherrealm Studios can really make her awesome and make her a character that people will want to play as, but in all honesty, I am with the good number of people who are disappointed in this character choice. Nothing against Batman and the Bat family, but this game already has, like what, 5 characters relating to Batman alongside Batman in it already? Do we really need any more? Martian Manhunter has been requested since day one alongside Powergirl judging by the fan-polls, why not either of them? Shoot, off the top of my head I think that Etrigan and/or Huntress would make for more satisfactory additions over Batgirl.

But hey, I'm sure she'll play fine and I'm sure that she'll be great fun to play as...just wish we weren't getting so much Bat-saturation whereas the most character/title representation we'll get from other characters here is...like, what, 2-3? I do mean really, 7 Bat-characters...

I love Batgirl as a character and I am not upset. But when they announce Scorpion officially, I'm going to be let down because that slot COULD have gone to Red Hood. Ultimately, the line up I was hoping for even before Lobo was announced was:

1. Red Hood

2. Supergirl

3. Lobo

4. Brainiac/Martian Manhunter/Zatanna/or Black Canary

But, we're not getting any of those save Lobo. We will however be getting Zod.

And is it me, or was Solomon Grundy a waste of a slot!? If they wanted a dumb mindless character, they should have made it Bizarro. Oh well, fingers cross for part 2.

I agree with whoever says black manta. I would like to see He-Man and skeletor.

There should be an option of whether we want to download the characters or not if you bought the season pass. I think it's only fair that if you have paid you should have the option to choose any 4 DLC characters to download. Characters like this should not be shoved down our throats.And where's my Red Lantern Ring.

Unless we get a surprise and Black Manta, Martian Manhunter, Black Canary, Mirror Master, Beast Boy, Circe, Poison Ivy, or Zatanna find their way into this list... I think I'll stick with the original cast of characters....

I'm a huge Batman fan and even I have to say this was a huge let down. There are so many other better choices than Barbara. Looks like the rumors are true and Zod and Scorpion (who isnt even a DC character! come on!) are next to be revealed -.-

BatWatch.net had this story five days ago. According to the same article that leaked Batgirl as the next character, Scorpion from Mortal Kombat and General Zod are the next two characters after Batgirl. Here is the story on BatWatch.

Blue Beetle Jamie Reyes would be perfect for this game, and he's not a Lantern, Batman, or Superman character. If there is any Superman character I'd like to see it would be Metallo. He just seems like he'd work.

I was kinda hoping for Ocean Master. Like how GL and Sinestro are similar. It's a great trend in fighting games dating back to Ryu and Ken.

Netherelm really dropped the ball on the DLC characters. I kind of wish I did not waste my cash on the season pass. Scorpion should not be in the game period, Zod is BORING he will just have the same move set as Superman and Batgirl is just unless we have Nightwing we got Batman that is enough of the Bat family that spot should of been Black Canary. As for Lobo that was a decent pick so there 1 of 4.

*Sigh*....so, I guess the rumors may be true. The next DLC characters will be Batgirl, General Zod, and Scorpion. I was looking forward to other characters such as Martian Manhunter, Black Canary, Blue Beetle, Static, or Swamp Thing. :(

@zombiemowlcher: They're not really apart of the DC world. That's like them putting a WoW character in there simply cause DC publishes their books.
