Each week we like to take a close hands on look at cool comic book collectibles. When it comes to Lego, you get the joy of putting them together as well as checking out the finished product. When the earlier Marvel Lego sets were released (Avengers Quinjet, Hulk Helicarier Breakout and Wolverine's Chopper Showdown), there was a picture of 'Spider-Man's Doc Ock Ambush' with Spidey, Doc Ock and Iron Fist. Finally, I was able to track one down.
You look at that box and you can feel the excitement oozing out of the box. You'll notice there's only 295 pieces. What's cool is besides the three characters, you get a nice playset. Doc Ock might be a bit of a dweeb at times but this is a pretty cool lair he has. He even has a little vehicle if he or his arms get tired.
== TEASER ==If you've built Lego a bunch of times, the key is sorting. The sets are often separated into numbered bags. Once you open the first, take the time to sort them out into the similar pieces. This way when you go through the directions, you can fly through the building process.
What does this all look like like put together?
Check out the detail in this playset.
I think it's pretty clear that this set kicks major butt. The set will cost you thirty bucks if you get it from the Lego website. I've never seen this one in stores for some reason so be sure to pick it up if you see it.
