Awesome Toy Picks: Justice League NEW 52 Wonder Woman & Cyborg Action Figures

Some cool collectibles you'll want to add to your collection.

Each week we take a close look at comic book collectibles. When it comes to action figures, it's sometimes hard to really know how cool they are unless you actually open the package. DC Collectibles has been putting out action figures for the New 52 version of the Justice League. We have already looked at Batman, Aquaman and Green Lantern & the Flash. To try to catch up with the releases so far, this week we'll look at Wonder Woman and Cyborg.

These are each sold separately and retail for $22.95. You can get them from DC's online shop or from a local comic shop (which is where I got these two).

The boxes have the same peel away design as the previous editions and the back has a brief bio on the characters.

We'll take a look at Wonder Woman first because "ladies first."

Wonder Woman is a character worthy of respect and it's great that a figure was made for her. Too often we see the female characters get overlooked in terms of action figures because some believe we don't want action figures of female characters. You can't and shouldn't have a Justice League set without her.

She comes with her sword and lasso. The lasso is not removable but is pliable. Because of her hair, her head is a little limited in how much you can move it. You can turn it a little, just not as much as the other figures. Her hair style sometimes looks a little odd, depending on the angle. But overall, it's a great looking figure and as solid as the others in the line.

The only complaint I'd have is the sculpt for her chest. Yes, we are talking about a female comic book character but it's just a tad too much. Maybe I'm the only one that would complain over their slight unnatural look?

We'll see a couple more shots of Wonder Woman. Let's take a look at Cyborg now.

Cyborg is a very solid figure. He has a bit of weight to him. That's the great thing about these, they're made with some quality to them and you don't feel like they're going to break if you try putting them in different positions.

Cyborg has a mix of being simple yet still having the detail he should have. Looking at his feet, clearly there won't be any problems getting him to stand in different poses.

His left hand is removable and he comes with his canon arm just in case they need to face an enemy.

If you've been buying these figures, of course you'll want to get these two as well. There is a box set with the seven and it's actually cheaper than buying them individually.

That's it for this week. There are still a couple more figures in this line to look at. You can expect to see them in the coming weeks. I'll give you a hint, one of them will not be Superman since he is currently only available in the box set. He isn't available separately until February, which is unfortunate.
