Awesome Toy Picks: Arkham City Joker & Golden Age Sandman

A selection of cool action figures you should add to your collection.

Each week we take a close look at some of the coolest toys we can get our hands on. Once we find them, we rip open the packaging. It's always a tough choice in decide which figures we'll look at. This week, one figure has the power to put you to sleep while the other is sure to give you nightmares.

For our first selection is the Joker from Arkham City. But if you look closely, you'll see this isn't the regular Joker figure.

This is the "Sickened Variant" figure that was first made available at New York Comic Con. It's limited to 4000 but that didn't stop me from ripping open the package. I didn't actually make it to NYCC but I did get it for $20 from Graphitti Designs at the Long Beach Comic Con. Lucky for me, they still had some in stock. I didn't see any on their website so you might have to check the next convention you go to or try looking on ebay. Doing a quick search shows they're selling between $20 and $60. Get 'em while you can!

Here's some more shots of Mr. J. He's the man of your dreams nightmares.

And this might be cheating a little but I took a pic of these two with Instagram.

Our second selection is Wesley Dodds, the Golden Age Sandman. I first became acquainted with the character courtesy of Vertigo's 1993 SANDMAN MYSTERY THEATRE by Matt Wagner. The figure could use a little more detail but I love the fact that one was actually made.
