Awesome Art Picks: X-Men, Superman, Black Widow, and More

The coolest comic book art you won't see in comics.

Each week we search for the coolest comic book art that you won't see in actual comics. The reason you won't is because artists often draw sketches for fun or commissions and post them on their blogs, Tumblrs, and websites. Some artists even pre-arrange commissions through their sites so be sure to check them out.

Last weekend was Emerald City Comicon so we skipped an installment of this feature. That means we have a load of incredible art this week along with the Mystery Art Challenge at the show.

Clay Mann posted this sweet Black Widow sketch cover from ECCC on his Tumblr.

Dustin Nguyen posted some new art this week on his Tumblr. This first pic is some weird-o. The second he posted on April 1 and had to do with BATMAN: LIL'ER GOTHAM where they would make bigger heads and eventually eliminate bodies and limbs. But again, keep in mind the date he posted it.
