Each week we gather up the coolest comic book art that you won't see in actual comics. The reason you won't is because artists often draw sketches for fun or commissions and post them on their websites, blogs, and Tumblrs. Some artists even arrange commissions through their sites so be sure to check them out.
Peter Nguyen has been posting more daily sketches as warm ups on his Tumblr. The first is a re-designed Iron Man Silver Centurion armor.
Paolo Rivera posted a couple different version of Batroc ze Lepair on his blog. Both are pretty amazing.
Gene Gonzales posted some warm up sketches on his blog this week.
Check out this Daredevil and Elektra sketch Yildiray Cinar posted on his Instagram.
Ryan Stegman often posts process sketches on his Tumblr. And take a look at his colored Spidey.
Agnes Garbowska posted some new commissions on her Tumblr.
Mike McKone posted a couple sketches he did during Free Comic Book Day on his Twitter page.
Philip Tan posted more commissions on his Facebook page this week.
Joel Gomez posted more sketches on his Tumblr.
Here's a couple pre-C2E2 commissions Mahmud Asrar posted on his Tumblr.
Ray-Anthony Height posted some new sketches on his Instagram page. Dig that 70s John Stewart!
Chris Giarrusso posted a bunch of commissions on his Facebook Page. I mentioned it on the podcast this week, I'd love to see Chris recreate the entire first issue of THE WALKING DEAD.
Here's a "Thug Life" sketch of Harley and Poison Ivy Clay Mann posted on his Tumblr.
We saw these two sketches from Marcio Takara last week but he posted some cleaner scans on his Tumblr this week.
Have you seen Todd Nauck's sketch cover for AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1 posted on his Tumblr? This should have been an actual variant cover. He also did a commission for a 'recording artist' named Kavinsky.
Here's some commissions DAVID sent in that he got at Wizard World Minneapolis. Thanks for sharing, David!
That's it for this week. If you come across any artists' blog or Tumblr that we've been missing, let us know. We'll have more awesome art next time.
