Each week we gather up the coolest comic book art you won't see in the comics. The reason you won't is because artists often draw sketches for fun or for commissions and post them on their websites, blogs or Tumblrs. Some artists even arrange commissions through their sites so be sure to check them out.
Mahmud Asrar posted his X-Men Sketch Studies on his Tumblr.
Rod Reis posted an Elric commission along with a couple digital sketches on his Tumblr.
J. Scott Campbell posted a character from Mad Men on his Instagram as well.
Ron Salas posted a Usagi Yojimbo sketch for the Stan Sakai project on his site.
Skottie Young posted some more Daily Sketches on his Tumblr.
Yildiray Cinar posted some art on his Instagram. His Thor pic was labeled as a "warm-up" piece. Really? Very impressive.
Ryan Stegman posted this penciled shot of "Wolvie reading his valentime's card" on his Tumblr.
Joel Gomez posted more sketch cards and covers on his Tumblr.
Phil Noto posted some art on his Tumblr that will be at the Full Disclosure show at Stranger Factory in New Mexico. More information can be found HERE.
Gene Gonzales some new sketches on his blog this week.
Peter Nguyen posted this Wolverine sketch and his con schedule (so far) on his Tumblr.
Last week we saw a Spider-Beetle sketch by Daniel HDR on his Tumblr. Here's another one
Here's a Magneto sketch card Chris Giarrusso posted on his website. Sorry, it's already sold out.
Paolo Rivera posted this Enchantress pic on his blog.
This Superman pic Michael Cho posted on his blog is actually a variant for SUPERMAN UNCHAINED #6. We just want to make sure everyone gets a chance to see it.
Marcio Takara posted more art on his Tumblr. You can see his black and white and colored versions.
Todd Nauck posted some X-Men sketches on his Tumblr. Guess he's getting ready for X-MEN LEGACY (the upcoming comic formerly known as NIGHTCRAWLER).
That's it for this week. Be sure to check back next time for more great art.
