There’s a Fine Line Between Good & Evil

How do you think Red Skull is going to come out of all this?

Issue 1=Shock, death!
Issue 2= More DEATH!
Issue 3= Shock,shock,shock!
Issue 4=...Did I mention death?

Posted by Squalleon

He is the comics equivalent of George R. R. Martin....and not in the good way.

Lol

@squalleon: You forgot the death that will change the Marvel Universe forever and shake it's core!

I'll be rereading Armor Hunters instead.

Really? Alex? Havok was never the most important X-Men, why is Remender using Havok like he's the most important mutant.

Posted by Mrfuzzynutz

I am just mad they gave him Onslaughts body hahaha

Nothing will be left to be shaken up halfway through his murder sp...eh I mean the story :P

The poster is horrible. Looks like is says sixis, not axis.

I'm looking forward to this.

God this represents everything I HATE about comics at the moment.

1. Meaningless events that don't matter in a months time.

2. Crossover of titles with big names just to make big money.

3. Horrible art like this poster ( almost looks like something from the new 52)

I'll give Marvel this much, Axis has me intrigued. Maybe not enough to buy into it, but enough that I'm nervous for how Red Skull's plans will affect the world and mutants. The X-Men stories that have always shaken me up the most, are the ones where Religious/Political Anti-Mutant agendas threaten Mutantkind in Mind or Body. In this case Red Skull's hatewave, and the Conditioning Camps on Genosha.

It's tinged with that same fear and desperation that X-Tinction Agenda had back in the day.

My ONE hope is that AXIS is not Marvel's Flashpoint and after this is over we are not looking down the barrel of a line-wide reboot of the universe.

I'm actually kind of excited for this one. I'm hoping alot of this current shit changes...

PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD: STOP MAKING MORE X-MEN COMICS!!!

yeah that's different, probably just because he can't really use Cyclops.

Looking forward to the Hobgoblin and Carnage mini series but other than that I'll pass. Original Sin has been really good, better than expected, I'd like to leave off on a high note before Remender starts killing everyone.

There not but you may never know.

orignal sin. no thanks.

Axis don't even bother.

SpiderVerse>>>>>>>>>>> Axis. But,that's just me.

SpiderVerse>>>>>>>>>>> Axis. But,that's just me.

To be fair I'm going to get both but I agree with you a bit.

For me it has a lot to do with the SpiderWoman Gwen version we're getting in SpiderVerse. I hope in some way, shape or form we get more stories from her.

See Remender's Uncanny Avenger for the answers to why it's Havok.

@shadowswordmaster: Remember when a event was something big and groundbreaking?

Now, it's Monday.

Nice

Posted by CheeseSticks

@humanrocket: I know that. Im only surprise that in an event thats supose to touch the whole marvel universe, Havok is far from the guy you want to see everywhere.

The Red Onslaught begins

@waezi2: Yes I do actual , Infinity was one.

I've been reading Uncanny Avengers since issue 1 & only missing the latest issue 23 BUT i forgot why Alex too.

Infinity is tied to both of the Avengers and New Avengers book. It brought us the current series of Mighty Avengers, Ms Marvel, Inhuman. It set up future stories involving the Kree and Skrull empires as well as a future story for Thane. It shook the royal family of the Inhumans.

Indeed Infinity was a good one alright. I just hope Remender's magic from his Uncanny X-Force run returns in this event as his game here needs to be much bigger now that it affects alot in the 616 universe.

I see a lot of hate for a series that hasn't come out yet. Granted Marvel is shelling out these events like fast food, but I'm going to still pick it up. One can hope that it is good.

Posted by Boynerdgeek

Death of Wolverine vs Spider Verse vs AXIS . Oh Marvel why you divide your own reader and fans. Not many comics fans have alot of money to read this events and tie in books

Posted by Scantenii

I have liked Original Sin but I am skipping this. Probably will pickup the trade. I don't have high expectations for though.

Posted by comedy_brosUSA

After all of the crappy stories Marvel has put out in the past 3 years, this looks equally as bad, overall. (the red skull part looks ok.) Marvel always say things will "never be the same" after stories are done, but the status quo always goes back to normal, and therefore I really don't want to spend my money on Marvel's yearly BIG stories anymore, because it won't really matter in a few months when everything goes back to normal.

Posted by Atary77

Is Marvel even done with Original Sin yet? For crying out loud, finish your first popsicle before you open another one!

Posted by Boynerdgeek

@atary77: oh well marvel nowadays is all about money. Cashgrab events after events

What do you mean, nowadays? MARVEL IS A BUSINESS, it's always been about money.

Posted by TheBlackHood

I really hope this event gives Magneto and Cyclops their due as the new Badasses of the X-men. If anyone should get to take out Red Skull it should be Magneto. I mean the guy is a Nazi that stole his best friends corpse. No one else has near a big an axe to grind as ol' Max.

Edited by Boynerdgeek

@squares: Marvel during stan lee-Jack Kirby- steve ditko era is not about money. Marvel during 80's is not about money, it is about character development and story. But in 2000's forward, Marvel decide to milk the cash cow from events after events

Edited by Teerack

True facts: No one cares about the Red Skull.

Seriously they should have let the Skull be dead. Fear Itself was a cool event and it if they didn't do this it would have left me with good memories of the character/legacy. Now it's just annoying that I have to wait for another two year long story line to be finished and forgotten.

The Red Skull is like Saber Tooth is for Wolverine, except for the entire Marvel Universe if you get what I'm saying.

I love how this big important event that will forever rock the mutant world isn't even crossing over with the 3 main x-books. All-New, Uncanny, and "Adjectiveless" X-Men are blissfully off in their own worlds. Looks like Amazing X-Men will be sitting it out too. Let's hope it stays that way!

Posted by Boynerdgeek

@teerack: yup agree. Not many fans like Red Skull. Marvel try to make Red Skull kind like Lex Luthor type of villains in Justice League cartoon imo but tbh I like that type of Lex Luthor compare to this Red Skull

Posted by Squares

@boynerdgeek: No, it was always a business, it was always about the money.

hey now. Remender has proven himself to be good in writing events and mixing various characters that had little interaction before. in him i trust.

if nothing else, i'm interested in seeing the grudge match of the century: Red Skull (who was a nazi and stole prof x's brain) vs Magneto (who was a nazi victim and rival/friend of prof x).

Alex is the leader of the Uncanny Avengers (and this event was mainly built there and in Remender's Captain America run). Aside from that, if you think about it, Alex is one of the five most important leaders in the X-Men. Sure he has always been under his brother's shadow, but that doesn't mean he's not important (and I love what Remender has done with the character, he's the only mutant leader I agree with right now, and the only one that really feels to be chasing Xavier's dream)

im so tired of the red skull .....you know what would be original? ....leaving the red skull dead for awhile !!!....is his super power coming back from the dead with a more dumbass plan than the last time he got killed? its 2014 and youre still doing nazis ....meh WHEN THE SKULL DIES AT THE END OF AXIS PLEASE LEAVE HIM DEAD ! use him in flashback cap stories ,,,he's corny now and worse with that onslaught armor..... MEH
