I'm excited. Being on the battle forums a lot I know of Batman's capabilities pretty well, but he's someone I want to learn more of as a character. This month should be fun.

Also those last pages felt very nolan-esque to me. I remember listening to the Dark Knight theme while i was reading this chapter lol. Totally made the read so much better!

I also love Dini, he's in my top 10 and I actually thought those scans were more epic than Nolan's. Its really amazing that so many great creators worked on Batman, 1 month is not enough to showcase all the great things about Batman.

Maybe one battle is fine, I want to see something else.

I know the usual but I'd like to see something different. Batman already had many main page battle articles, more than any other character. And it was just a suggestion.

I don't care if you're happy or upset about Batman's victory, just don't be immature and petty about it. And for the people that ARE upset, I hope this is just you getting it out of your system and you won't be in the upcoming Batman articles just to post negativity. Because, you know, you're tired of Batman, so why would you click those articles anyway, right? Also, you could try and be productive by suggesting future voting themes with characters you like. I'm more than open to suggestions! Until the next round of voting (it's only about 3 weeks away, I think you'll be okay), you're free to simply ignore Batman threads or even make your own threads about characters you love. That said, it's clear A LOT of people want to see Batman get the CotM treatment and I hope that crowd enjoys the upcoming content.

Whatever. I suppose it would be interesting though, if Batmans' opponents for his battles were The Justice League. Little Preview of BvS, Batman vs. Wonder Woman, Bats vs. Aquaman...

I don't think asking for maturity from both sides is being one-sided about it. I understand Batman receives more focus than most characters and there's a reason for that: a majority of people like the character and want to discuss him. This poll has the most votes we've yet to see with the segment and a majority made it clear that they'd like to see us feature Batman's best stories, covers and more. Last month, Batman was the focal point in only one of the weekly segments (favorite video games).

As for POV, I joined the site in 2009 and I've only been staff for 2 years or so, so I do understand what it's like to be a part of the community and check out the homepage to see what the site covers. This segment is still VERY young and this ISN'T the only time we'll have favorite Justice Leaguer as a theme. As the segment grows, we'll begin to branch out and give love to other publishers, lesser-knowns, and all that, too. But right now it's about building up the segment and making sure it's on radars.

Keep in mind, Batman didn't win the first time he was on the poll and he only won by a mere 1% this time around. In fact, there were only a handful of votes during the final 24 hours of the poll. If someone REALLY wanted Wonder Woman to take the lead, they could have stepped up during that final day and made a difference. Maybe this will motivate people to do more than just vote and fade away if they really want a certain character to win.

So yeah, I understand why people don't want Batman to get even more content, but I also understand that even MORE people would like to see Batman featured in the CotM articles. Lastly, remember that a character can only win once in this segment. So, you can view this as just getting Bruce Wayne's victory out of the way ;)

Well August is going to be a fun month or an average day on any giving bat article depending on how you view it.Either way good luck to Wonder Woman on the next go around.
