See this is what makes me laugh. You're stating already that you will be arguing against Batman without even knowing who he is up against. And this is why I say that the Batman haters are way more irrational and biased than the Batman fans.

Where was Batman last month? It was only about DS and before than Moon Knight, CV posted anything about Batman only when WB or DC announced anything. With him gone he will be out of the way.

CV also stopped making Batman Battle of the month which is a good thing.

Meh. At least we will get a chance to decide some of the classic battles in a more prominent role. Maybe that will give some weight to put the smack down on some fanboy rage.

There are probably more classic examples worth debating, but there is one I once saw that I wouldn't mind seeing presented to a larger audience. What about Batman vs all five Robins pre-New 52? The debate I saw had bats trashing the birds, but I think the Robins working together could pull a victory. By Robins, I mean them in their final level of development, so it would be Batman vs Robin, Batgirl, (Steph) Red Robin, Red Hood and Nightwing. Morals on. Standard gear. No prep. Gotham streets.

Batman is my favorite Leaguer but I voted Hal. Green Lantern is my second favorite of the big 7 there and I wanted to show him some love.

I'm not really that interested in Superman as a character but I'm honestly surprised that he was so low in the polls, and that Wonder Woman was so high. Say what you want but Superman alongside Batman are two of DC's most iconic characters. It shocked me like a M. Night Shyamalan plot twist lol

I think it's pretty self-explanatory why I love these specific pages. Not only does he escape and kick ass when the bad guys think they have him trapped and docile, but it so succinctly and articulately explains who and what Batman is, and why we as fans find him so compelling. That no matter how dire or dark the circumstances may seem, the Dark Knight will always triumph and persevere.

Also a fantastic character moment. You get to see how much Batman loves and respects Alfred and how he was such an important figure in his life and crusade. "Only it's not about who killed Batman, but who kept him alive all these years." What batfan doesn't love that piece of dialogue!

Love that a moderator is mocking all of the Superman and Wonder Woman fans. Way to keep things civil.

Not surprised by this, but really disappointed. Given what the CotM content gives, it would have actually been pretty interesting if Cyborg or Aquaman won. Learn a little more about their histories, villains, etc. etc. since they don't normally get much time in the spotlight.

Haha I knew he would win so I just voted for him. I'm glad he won though unlike some other people since he's my second favorite character. Also glad that he gets a battle every week instead of just once a month. I hope the Joker gets at least one battle with someone.

Also those last pages felt very nolan-esque to me. I remember listening to the Dark Knight theme while i was reading this chapter lol. Totally made the read so much better!

@outside_85: who wouldve you rather have? your profile pic is the jokers face. batman is the most genious character in comics. we can never be anything like superman, or aquaman or wonderwoman. but batmans just a guy, pushed to the limits of the human form. hes been through so much, its dark and sometimes you need that. he has it tougher than spiderman. he has cooler villains than anyone else. but what does it is hes one of thewb biggest bad aszes out their and hes just a man
