I love how anyone from the Batman world cant even be blink referenced to by DC TV shows, I would imagine its some form of legal rubbish but I just find this whole thing utterly bizarre. I don't watch Arrow and have no interest in it, however if Nightwing were to pop up I would give it a look.

I really hope he shows up. He's my second favorite superhero.

I'm actually happy about this. I like the show fine, but would rather it stand on its own than taking from the Batverse. I already wasn't the happiest with how they used Huntress and Deadshot.

I would rather they introduce a version of Jason Todd that is a vigilante who claims to have been trained to be a ninja and died and come back. Add some magical realism/mysticisim to everything.

Screw Arrow, Nightwing should have his own series.

This show keeps getting better and better. Can't wait for season 2.

I'm not an avid watcher of Arrow, but I would still love to see Nightwing get a cameo in a live action show.

I'd love to see Nightwing one upping Arrow with his better gadgets XD. It'd be a great opportunity to get some good live action Nightwing without having him linked to Batman. Hopefully season 3... If Nightwing is being used in the upcoming movies, it really shouldn't have any effect on Arrow... DC should push other characters like Nightwing that are between tier 1 and 2 into multiple mediums at once. I haven't been having my Nightwing fill since Young Justice was cancelled and Beware the Batman doesn't think adding the best supporting cast of characters in comics (The Batfamily) is a good idea so Nightwing being added to Arrow would be a welcomed addition.

It would be dumb to have Nightwing in the show. I like Nightwing more than GA and Nightwing is far more popular than Green Arrow so yeah the gust star of the show would be liked more than the star of his own series lol If it did happen.

I really don't care to watch Oliver jerk around with Dick.

Solution:

1) Cancel Beware the Batman...like yesterday.

2) Start a solo Nightwing animated series (no CGI) that is accessible to both kids and long-time fans of the character.

3) Promote the TV series utilizing the usual slew of action figures and comic books. Get this Dick Grayson guy front and center, a character that has been in DC canon longer than Wonder Woman.

Nightwing should get his own show. Animated or live action.

The only thing I gained from this thread is he is now gonna be called Green Arrow.

It would be cool to have Nightwing appear on Arrow but it would be even better for him to get his own show. The CW should have both shows run on Wednesday and make it a DC night.

Arrow is a great show but seeing Nightwing would be even better! Hopefully they can works something out. If not how about Jason or Tim? Or even Leviathan as a villain for the series? "he's" supposed to be a world threat right? I think it would be cool to see some Batman Inc members.

I want to see Arrow be tied into the DC Cinematic Universe that DC is pushing to have. Having Nightwing means we won't get to see Dick as Robin in the Batman movies, be in a Teen Titans movie, and advance into having a Nightwing movie.

Anyway the show is called Arrow. It's a show about Green Arrow. I love Batman and Dick Grayson, but please keep them away from the show. They have a great deal of exposure and popularity. Green Arrow does not. How about they focus on making Green Arrow more known to the public instead of throwing a Batman character inside the show.

I believe he does, as well as other DC characters, due to multiple cities from the DC Universe having been mentioned already in season one. Whether we'll see any of them appear in the show, that's up to the creators. Personally, I'd rather they focus on building up Green Arrow characters like Canary, Red Arrow, etc. before bringing in other DC character outside of Green Arrow's supporting cast.

True. Speaking of, with all the city name drops in season one, it makes me really wonder why they changed Star City to Starling City.

Also I get what you're saying with the supporting characters, but with the appearances of Deadshot, Firefly, Deathstroke, and Huntress I can't help but feel that they should at the very least confirm a few other heroes. Like have a passing mention of "some kind of vampire bat thing in Gotham" or something

As much as I loooooove Nightwing, its a bad idea. At least right now. The show is only in its second season. Let them develop other Green Arrow characters before the cameos start happening.

I would only like that if they don't erase the Batman connection. Sure, Bats isn't going to be a part of Arrow, but if they have Nightwing, let him at least acknowledge that he was adopted by Bruce Wayne, or something like that.
