ARCHER & ARMSTRONG and BLOODSHOT Team-Up for "MISSION: IMPROBABLE"

The four-part crossover begins in March.

It seems comic fans often grumble over crossovers these days but then we usually see those crossovers doing well, in terms of sales. When it comes to a smaller comic book universe, like Valiant, the idea of a crossover can be much more appealing. If this is a shared universe, we actually do want to see how these characters will interact with each other. Starting next March, we'll get to see, what should turn out to be, a rather interesting crossover.

Archer & Armstrong are meeting up with Bloodshot courtesy of the ARCHER & ARMSTRONG creative team of Fred Van Lente and Pere Perez and BLOODSHOT AND H.A.R.D. CORPS co-writers Christos Gage and Joshua Dysart with incoming artist, Tom Raney.

This is likely to get pretty nuts.

Valiant is proud to announce "Mission: Improbable" – a four-part crossover event beginning this March in Archer & Armstrong #18 and Bloodshot and H.A.R.D. Corps #20!

Archer & Armstrong are going to war with Bloodshot and H.A.R.D Corps! (GULP!) That's right, Valiant's globe-trotting adventure duo have been targeted for elimination by Project Rising Spirit's most elite kill crew. Their mission? Assassinate the the newly appointed leader of a homegrown fundamentalist terror sect named…Obadiah Archer?! (And if they could take out his mentally ill, alcoholic bodyguard who just happens to think he's a 10,000-year-old immortal, that'd be swell too!)

It's an improbable mission with impossible odds. Do Bloodshot and the steely killers of the H.A.R.D. Corps stand a chance against two conspiracy-smashing heroes that never go down without a fight? Find out when Valiant lights the fuse on "Mission: Improbable" in Archer & Armstrong #18 and Bloodshot and H.A.R.D. Corps #20 – the FIRST ISSUES of this unprecedented, four-part crossover event!

With each issue featuring one of four interlocking Pullbox Exclusive Variants – reserved exclusively for comic shop subscribers – by artist Jorge Molina, don't miss a moment of Valiant's very first inter-series crossover when Bloodshot and H.A.R.D. Corps join Archer & Armstrong to the run the gauntlet for "Mission: Improbable" in March and April!

Well crap, this is terrible news. I guess it'll be time to drop Bloodshot in March. I despise all of these crossovers. I've dropped many a DC and Marvel titles for the same reason. Too bad Valiant isn't realizing that actually doing something different than DC and Marvel could be a benefit.

For lack of a better term Bloodshot and X-0 Manowar are quickly becoming the Superman and Barman of the Valiant universe, by that I mean they are the two nexis points.
