Another Smallville: Absolute Justice Clip With Wesley Dodds

Get ready for a glimpse at Sandman.

Smallville: Absolute Justice airs this Friday on the CW.  The two hour "event" was written by Geoff Johns.  Here's the official synopsis:

A man named Sylvester Pemberton tracks down Chloe (Allison Mack) and tells her he knows about her team of superheroes and needs their help. However, before he can explain who he is, he is attacked and killed by Icicle (guest star Wesley Macinnes). Clark (Tom Welling) and Chloe's (Allison Mack) investigation leads Clark to the former headquarters of the Justice Society of America where he meets up with Nelson AKA Dr. Fate (guest star Brent Stait), Carter Hall AKA Hawkman (guest star Michael Shanks) and Courtney AKA Star Girl (guest star Britt Irvin). Courtney pleads with Hawkman and Dr. Fate to help her catch the killer that is targeting their group but they are reluctant to resume their duties as superheroes. Clark, John Jones (guest star Phil Morris), Green Arrow (Justin Hartley) and Chloe team up to help the JSA stop Icicle before he murders another member of the group. Meanwhile, Lois (Erica Durance) receives a package from a mysterious agency called Checkmate, run by Amanda Waller (guest star Pam Grier). Geoff Johns wrote the two-hour episode. Glen Winters directed the first hour and Tom Welling directed the second hour.

More importantly, here's another video clip that shows Wesley Dodds (Sandman).  Uh oh...
Why, Geoff, why?  Maybe he'll be okay...

I won't say that I am not excited about the JSA, but I would be more excited if Wonder Woman had anything resembling a cameo in this series. And no, not Lois in a faux Wonder Woman costume at a comic book convention.

I feel like I've stated my excitement about the JSA more than enough. Let's try something new...Amanda Waller being portrayed by Pam Grier? That's flippin' awesome!

It's pretty ridiculous. DC is always doing stuff like this. I still think it is cool that they are using what they have, but why can't DC be more open. Like the Grayson fan trailer. That would have been an awesome movie! But DC stopped them and said if anyone else makes another fan-made trailer that they would sue.

i really don't want to see batman in smallville cause he will be in every episode and smallville would become WORLD'S FINEST or something like that glad they went with the JSA they could have done the teen titans

I think seeing Bale as Batman encounter Welling would be slamming!! but sadly, never happen thanks to DC's dumb "rules" of thumb with rights and all that shit...
Anywho, this looks awesome! Sandman looks umm, dead...:O

Despite hearing the JSA will act like Watchmen, its more like the story line itself (a mysterious murder killing off retired superheroes)
