Anyone else see Merle taking Rick's hand instead of the Governor?
That would be a nice twist, but I read somewhere that Kirkman said that he would rather have Rick not lose his hand in the TV show, so maybe no one will cut it off.
So...I guess its Michonne and Andrea that leads to Rick's group encountering the Governor huh? That was a twist I sure didn't see coming. Alright lets be honest...watching the show...and reading the comic. They are two different spins on the same topic people. Just think of it as alternate universes, like Marvel 616 versus the Ultimate Universe when comparing the two. You don't have to like one and hate the other or vice versa...you can prefer one over the other sure but still like both of them regardless. At least that's how I see this whole thing when people go into the 'show vs. comics' argument...

This!
And I can't wait to see it! Looks very promising, loved the scenes in the prison, Michonne and the Governor look great and the return of Merle is just awesome!
I'm probably one of the only people that doesn't really care for Michonne.
I hope the show picks up this season. The last one really was a slow drag.
This trailer was a drag. I have a feeling there's going to be lots of standing around talking about feelings again this season.
I have the same feelings about it, removed the show from my DVR listing last season. You can literally compress all of last season down to a 30mins clip and get everything that happened.
I'm interested in how the show will play out compared to the comics and I am just hoping that this season becomes even grittier and more intense now that Merle and the Governor are part of this season
Looking fantastic! I'm totally looking forward to it.
And YAY! Michonne!! She kicks ass. Kinda not sure about the actress they casted at the moment, but hopefully she'll change my opinion once the new season starts.
Can't wait!! for the end of Breaking bad... i'm hoping it ends with a zombie apocalypse that leads into walking dead lol I just think it would be cool to have walt and jess cameo in walking dead.
Just kidding. I just don't like her. She uses two swords "cuz it's kewl" and made the book much more comic book-y. I think the book has had much better characters to offer and they're all going to die before she does.
ill be really pissed off if they dont find any inmates alive in the prison. that is what was so damn amazing about that whole time they spent in the prison is they worked along side hardened criminals, well some were but u get the idea

Hit the nail on the head. I believe the comics to be the better medium, but the show is very good as well and we should all be able to enjoy both for what they are. Different takes on the same the situation with basically the same characters. I hate the comics vs. the show argument. Even Kirkman has said he's excited that a different story of Rick and the survivors will be told. Who the hell wouldn't be? Yes we all wanna see Tyrese and we all wanna see this and that play out on the small screen, but wheres the fun in that? I personally don't want to watch a story that I know all the twists and turns and endings too. We should all just be grateful that for maybe the first time ever, and epic comic story has been very well adapted onto the small screen and it looks like we'll be seeing it for years to come
