On this week's episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. the battle between Phil Coulson's S.H.I.E.L.D. and "the real" S.H.I.E.L.D. heats up. What's this "real" S.H.I.E.L.D. you ask? It turns out there's a second group of the organization that has risen from the ashes of the day S.H.I.E.L.D. fell in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Here's the official synopsis:
War comes to Coulson’s doorstep in a way he never anticipated as shocking revelations are brought to light, and Skye struggles to control her new abilities but will soon make a decision that irrevocably changes her life.
In this first clip, Coulson starts to realize some of the agents he recruited and trusted while trying to rebuild S.H.I.E.L.D. are actually working for someone else.
This next clip, might be a tiny bit spoilery.
We see that Coulson's S.H.I.E.L.D. is now fully aware that Mack and Bobbi are both working for another organization. We also see a flashback to the day S.H.I.E.L.D. fell.
