'300: Rise of an Empire' Trailer #3

"Leonidas and the brave 300 are dead..."

It's hard to believe that 300 was released back in 2007. We've been hearing about the sequel, 300: Rise of an Empire, for some time and soon it will be in theaters. Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures released a new trailer today.

The movie smashes its way into theaters on March 7. It's directed by Noam Murro and stars Sullivan Stapleton, Eva Green, Lena Headey, Hans Matheson, David Wenham, Rodrigo Santoro, Igal Naor, Callan Mulvey, Jack O'Connell and Andrew Tiernan. The screenplay is written by Zack Snyder and Kurt Johnstad based on Frank Miller's graphic novel XERXES (which hasn't been released yet...).

Cersei Lannister FTW!

What Happened to Gerard Butler? Don't know that I've seen him in anything since Law Abiding Citizen.

300 was awesome, so I most likely will go see this in theaters.

Oh, yes. But I feel that I should warn you: You'll have this uncontrollable urge to bust out some push-ups & crunches after you finish watching it so that you too can look "SpartanJacked"!:)

Looks even worse than the first one, and the first one was garbage.

Don't really know if I'm comfortable with the new male lead. He doesn't seem to "fit" the role by looks alone. I guess I won't know until I see the film.

Lena Headey was a great choice.

You can either die a hero...

What a miscast for the main protagonist. Too "every man" in cast. Not nearly "heroic" enough in scale. A real leap down from Gerard Butler IMHO.

The only criticism I can launch as the rest looks epic.

Loved the first 300 but this one feels unnecessary. I think they will pump this movie full of so much slow mo action to cover up the fact its not good. Let's hope my first assumptions are wrong.

Enjoyed 300, but proably won't watch it again. This looks too late and too unnecessary

So not liking historical inaccuracy, terrible acting, anti-middle eastern racism and uninteresting, gimmicky effects is trolling?

Way too epic! Looks awesome! I loved the first one.

I really hope Marvel gets Eva Green for something at somepoint. I'm thinking Enchantress for Thor 3, but I'd be open to other options.
