2 Clips For 1/2/09 Batman: Brave & The Bold

Two clips from the "Day Of The Dark Knight" episode of Batman: The Brave And The Bold, airing 1/2/09.

Here's a couple clips from the January 2, 2009 episode of Batman: The Brave And The Bold.  The episode is called "Day Of The Dark Knight."  There will be guest stars abound.

Morgan Le Fey has taken over Camelot and she's turned everyone to stone.  To try to stop her plans, Merlin summons Batman and Green Arrow back in time in order to get Excalibur.  They also have to defeat Etrigan, fight dragons and return King Arthur to the throne.  Piece of cake, right?

In the teaser portion of the episode (the intro. portion of the show), Batman has to team up with Guy Gardner in order to stop a criminal riot at the Green Lantern Corps.

I'll post a bunch of images most likely next week.  Enjoy the clips courtesy of Cartoon Network.  (Sorry for the youtube quality but I'm obviously not in the office to upload these on our video player.)

Would it kill them to aim a cartoon at the actual age of people who read the comics? (i.e. 25 & up) Or to get South Koreans to do the animation, like with Batman TAS, Superman TAS, Batman Adventures, Adventures of Batman & Robin, & Batman/Superman Adventures?

It's not as retarded as marketing Spiderman toys for infants, but it's damned close.

So you're basically saying you'd want this Batman cartoon to look exactly like every recent Batman (and DC) cartoon?  I think that'd be boring.  This is a good show.  Maybe it's not geared towards you.  It's not like they invented this look.  Dick Sprang was a genius and did wonders with Batman in the Golden Age.  I think change is good.  Why not see something we haven't already seen hundreds of times?

That makes sense to me. Though I probably won't watch this show. It looks too generic. I mean Batman and Green Arrow fight with King Arthur and the Knights fo the round table? Lame.

This episode looks boring, Shouldn't Morgan have a son like in the Justice League TV Series.
Who that demon beside Morgan. I know him, I just don't know his name. He is the demon who helps Batman
and The Justice League to fight Morgon in The Justice League Cartoon. Any way when will there be an episode where Batman teams up with Dr.Fate  Wonder Woman, The Flash, Captain Marvel,or Superman
Because this episode might be lame to me.

I watched an episode tonight of Batman: Brave and the Bold featuring Plastic Man.  Guess what?  I enjoyed it.  I laughed.  I thought it was fun and entertaining, and I am well above the market age for such shows.

I think it is appropriate for BOTH kids and adults.

While I admit I prefer the old Batman Animated Series, I think it is great the Cartoon Network is putting this out in an effort to appeal to kids instead of only older viewers.

Is that a bad thing?

It's the CARTOON NETWORK!!!  Come on, it's a channel aimed at kids, people!  Yes, there's Adult Swim, but let this be and quit griping about it.

While Batman's physical appearance and animated styling  may not be 100% to my liking, I still enjoyed this cartoon.  I encourage others to watch it.

If you are an older viewer and don't like this show, I encourage you to direct younger viewers to watch the show.  Although I think you'd  be missing out if you didn't watch it, too.
