1st Look: Ted Kord Lives On Batman: Brave & The Bold 1/23

Ted Kord is alive and well on Friday's episode of "Batman: The Brave And The Bold" on Cartoon Network.  You may recall when I interviewed Will Friedle (voice of Jaime Reyes, Blue Beetle) and he mentioned that Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: Next Generation) will be doing the voice of Ted Kord.  We've already seen the Jaime Reyes Blue Beatle on the show a couple times.  With a title "Fall Of The Blue Beetle!," things may not look too good for old Ted.

Besides Wil Wheaton, the episode also guests Lex Lang as Dr. Polaris, Will Friedle as Jaime Reyes/Blue Beetle and Jason Marsden as someone named Carlos (Jaime's friend?).

The synopsis is as follows:

Blue Beetle traces his legacy back to the original Blue Beetle, to learn why the Scarab has chosen him to share in it’s powers and become a super hero.  The journey leads him to the dangerous Science Island where he battles legions of robots alongside Batman and learns the truth behind Ted Kord’s disappearance.
