Artemis is the Shim'Tar (greatest warrior) of the Egyptian Amazons of Bana-Mighdall. For a short time, she also held the title of Wonder Woman. Currently, she is teamed up with The Outlaws.
So apparently it seems like she is coming to the DCU. Not sure how I feel about that because of the still missing Mia Dearden and Arrowette who are both blond archers like her. Maybe they combined the characters. Arrowette does have Artemis as one of her names on her CV page or is that a mistake?
Not sure the hair is done the same in a long pony tale but he would have had to change the color of it. She also is using a spear I was under the impression they were not going to use other amazons off of Paradise Island except for WW and the Demon Knights Amazon. She could have been told to bring her over but not sure she is a big enough character for that. She also could be Arrowette or Mia renamed. We will have to wait and see.

Well, Artemis Crock is an existing character, that looks similar to that. I would just be surprised as Scott Lobdell hasn't really shown any interest in the YJ show, unless the "higher ups" had him do it.
i wonder if she'll have any ties to Cheshire or Sportsmaster in the new 52... Cheshire has face paint on her face too, but not on her body in the new 52 design, she too has a ponytail
@krspaceT: Marvel's killing it right now with fans... they're bringing the Phoenix, The Mutant Messiah Hope, The Scarlet Witch, The X-Men, The Avengers, and a huge fight of heroes all in one event!! So DC needs to hit the reins a little harder to make themselves progress a little faster, because this new 52 is good and also bad!! Good: being that new readers means more money; while the Bad: being that loyal readers previous before Flashpoint are somewhat annoyed at the fact that their favorite stories and character are being retold and some altered... which means some lost loyal fans!

I think this is a sign that Artemis will no longer be in YJ anymore either that she also died. I think her death is going to be the reason why Wally West is going to retire. That's why both of them haven't been seen in YJ yet!
