A new recruit in the Initiative. Edit

Armory was trying to kill herself when she found the Tactigon, an alien weapon with incredible destructive power. She used it to fight crime for a while, then she signed up for the Initiative.

During a training session she was in the room with Trauma so he can use his powers, but when he used her arachnophobia against her, and transformed into one, Armory lost control and fired off repeated blasts. While MVP was trying to save Cloud 9, he was hit in the head and killed.

Due to her loss of control, she was washed out of the Initiative and the Tactigon was surgically removed from her arm. Violet would appear again in a mental institution. Her therapist would question her about the scars on her arm where the Tactigon once was. Not wanting to risk divulging what she had experienced, Violet tells him that the scars are self-inflicted. Unknown to Violet, her therapist is in league with Commissioner of the Commission on Superhuman Activities, Henry Peter Gyrich, and is spying on Violet and leaking her secrets to the government to ensure that the incident with MVP is never made public.

It is later found out that nobody else is able to wield the Tactigon after 50 of Camp Hammond's best men have tried and failed. The Tactigon is later successfully implanted onto one of the MVP clones, but the clone immediately goes berserk after receiving the weapon, labelling itself "KIA" and attempting to kill anyone involved with 'his' death. Only time will tell if Violet makes a return, or if she will obtain the Tactigon once more.
