So...do I enjoy the Armageddon miniseries you ask? Of course I do, its one of the finest comic book story arcs I've ever read, perhaps not because of the plot to it, but because of the action, the surprises, the "every character is involved" idea, the sheer hopelessness of it all, its a great story arc!

Anyways for the issue itself and what happened within it I shall now share:

I feel the issue has a nice opening, explaining to us some of what has gone on since we read last, filling us in on some key events that took place in that time, telling it from an outside view, sharing with us that it seems now more than ever there is no hope for anyone to survive the ending of the Chaos universe.

As for their characters and their roles, let's start off with Lady Death and Evil Ernie, LD didn't really do anything in the issue but be hot, but at least she's good at it so I have nothing negative to say about her performance, but Ernie? Ernie was HILARIOUS! Haha! I loved it! It seems true love does conquer all, promised the world he was by Armageddon but he turned it all down in his madness because he's in love with Lady Death and follows only her.

Bedlam and the gang also go an amazing adventure, though truthfully it wasn't that interesting to me, I simply enjoyed the tale told to them, of the origin of the Chaos universe, great story!

Oh and Mitchell's cameo, although filled with big words I could not comprehend was still interesting, it will be nice to see what he has done when the smoke clears.

Purgatori. Nothing more needs to be said other than I'm her loyal fanboy so obviously I loved her appearance, minimal as it was. She was resurrected by Armageddon in return that she do one thing for him, destroy Lady Death, guess what her answer was. Yep, we're going to have some awesome stuff in store for her I am sure!

The issue ended with the perfect climax, The Savior brings followers of Armageddon to the Father of Fear himself, a cult they are but they meet The Chosen Ones there and the two groups get into a fight...the cult loses...but only because the Father of Fear is awakened and devours them all...leaving the Chosen Ones looking on in terror...
