Aries was an orphan before being adopted. His new siblings were Marius and Katrina. For the first time in his life, he was happy. After his adoptive mother died, he swore to his father that he would always protect his siblings. After his father also passed away, his brother joined the Dominion Royal Guard. Aries and Katrina followed close behind. Marius was promoted to Captain but Aries was a bit more reckless.
On a mission to protect Princess Persephone, the ship they were flying in (the Artemis) was attacked. All were thought to have died expect for Aries and Persephone. For his heroic deeds, Aries was promoted by King Kyron IV to the Elite Dominion Guard. However, Marius blamed Aries for their sister's death.
On their first counterattack, Aries discovered that the Dominion were not necessarily the noble kingdom he thought they were when they razed a village, killing everyone.
